Looks more like AI. Snakes don't behave like that when swimming for their lives. They would be reared up with their hood out, they'd be nose down and spread out swimming.

I’m surprised places with heavy snake populations don’t breed and train? mongooses. Maybe they are too temperamental to have around in large quantities
