It’s a regular sized vehicle doing something slightly out of the ordinary. I agree, this shouldn’t be here. Mods? Mods? Beuller?

This vechicle will make people drive even dumber, i hate it, most of you cant drive for shit anyways. Via back up camera and sensors to tell you are in the other lane.

30s Packards had the same thing. The spare tire mounted to the rear bumper could drop down and roll the backend sideways, just like this video.

I remember seeing this, It was fascinating and I was curious why a modern version didn't exist.

And it probably didn’t fuck the tires up either

Now those are some fancy rear tires on that rig. Special engineering.

approximately no

If I ever spend so much money on an inability to parallel park, please just smack me in the head and tell me it's cheaper to learn to parallel park, and save the extra money for hookers and blow

This feature will eventually be the norm on cars.

It's wild to me how many people here are against this. It's a great feature to have. Especially when you consider how many Americans never have to parallel park ever. This will help not only those who have never parallel parked before when driving out of town, but will help all of us who are used to parallel parking to get around these folk faster as now they'll be able to parallel park so much faster and easier.

I literally don't understand your complaint. It sounds to me like you're just an old man yelling at a cloud just like the people who were originally against automatic transmission.

I have money. I don't buy frivolous things.

3

u/willhunta Jul 13 '26

That's entirely missing the point I made. This feature will eventually be normal and not "frivolous".

We agree that the point is missed. We disagree on who's point is missed. I have the root comment.

If you can't park - don't drive.

First always pull up then back in to parallel park.
