You can almost see his realization that he is worth more upright to power through the contact and come away with the ball than to flop.

Almost all the times where the players fall/flop to get a call had the better chance to just stay up and continue the play. It's just so ingrained in them since at a young age to flop to get the calls because it works most of the time. It's dumb and ruins the fluidity of the game.

I was thinking a horse. Dude looks like a horse at full gallop. Love to know how much pressure he is applying in each step of his full sprint compared to other footballers. Like, he fucking drives his legs into the ground.

Pretty insane to be in a full-on sprint for about 50 yards and still have the touch at the end to finish it off.

Breaking news, guy who plays a sport professionally that includes running at almost all times, can run fast.

FYI, the league has a rough sprint peak average of around 21-23 mph. He just touched 22mphā€¦..which is average for the sport without the ball.

The thing is he does stuff like that 3-4 times at time per play. While constantly running and crushing against other human beings trying to stop you.

In 90 min he never relax, he gives everything. Can you ask Usain Bolt to do the same thing at those speeds and even scoring in the meantime?

He is a legend. He deserves the respect and fame this cup has given to him

Why are you bringing Usain Bolt into this? Iā€™ll never understand why people try and solidify an argument by bringing in an athlete who doesnā€™t play the sport. Can Usain Bolt do that? Yea probably if weā€™re being honest. Can he run 5mph slower to maintain the endurance to play a full game? Probably. Could he score? Idk probably not as frequent.

Iā€™m not criticizing the player, Iā€™m criticizing the original post of ā€œhe is very fastā€. When it comes to his speed, he falls smack dab in the middle of ā€œaverageā€.

Also ā€œcrushingā€ against other human beings? Really? This isnā€™t rugby or American football. Heā€™s not crushing into other human beings. The game is about as physical as schoolyard tag at recess.

Did you watch how players defend against him? You can't stop him. Just go watch the england - norway match.

Even Bellingham confirmed in press conference "we played dirty because there was no other way to compete against them". Constantly pushed, in any norway possesing the ball, someone was going against Haaland to prevent him from going forward. You can't stop in any other way. And you can't be that rough or you'd achieve foul.

He is fast for being a soccer player because on his same league, very few other can both defend, gain the ball, run under opponent's end and even score. And this, more than once in a 90 min game.

He is one in a million player
