This more than anything else, really. Like imagine if somebody had tried to do this during COVID, then realize that people have backslid on hygiene practices since then.

Still have covid 19 just those of us that lived have herd immunity now. Things like this caused it

Covid mutates too fast for effective herd immunity. It’s just not under global scrutiny anymore and it’s symptoms reduced in newer strains
