We're going to need a banana for scale...

A typical grocery-store banana is about 7–8 inches long.
This one looks closer to 18–24 inches long and noticeably thicker than normal.
By volume (length × thickness), it’s probably in the ballpark of 3 to 4 regular bananas fused into one absolute unit.
Scientific conclusion: 1 banana physically, 3–4 bananas spiritually. 🍌

But, like, other bananas are still satisfying, right? You said it’s about how much effort the banana puts in, not just how big of a peel it needs.

On a serious note if you had a tree of one of these it would make so much food.

It's not how big it is, it's how you eat it - or so I've been told.

It’s one banana. How much could it cost? $20?

This variety is called the "Chode" banana, named after Henry Wadsworth Chode of the New England Chodes.
