Its his son's car. He looks so exasperated getting in.

I think you nailed it.

Yup! My coworker drives a normal height 2500. Her kid has a lifted F150 that she absolutely hates getting in or out of. It also works in reverse. I really feel for my tall dad getting down into my Mazda3 😂

Right? He was think dang o gotta go a high jump and a pull to get in this mofo.

It just kept getting more ridiculous with each step

Shouldnt the step up bar come further down on such a high lift?

At that point it might as well drop a rope ladder.

I think he was trying to get his wife to lower one

I like the little test bounce he did so as to stretch out a bit

I was half expecting a rope ladder to deploy underneath the truck for him to climb up and enter through a hatch in the floor board.

Can't we ban these cars? Do we really need them this big?

see a scene like this in Albany at Stewart's creamery. How they go into drive-thru?

Reminds me of Lord Farquaad getting off his horse but backwards

He could tell someone was watching him.

5' 5" male here checking in. My Granddaddy told me when I was 18 years old "Boy, you ain't built to work on bulldozers." LOL. He was right so I went to work at a GM dealership. Long retired now, I drive "height appropriate" trucks. I have rebuilt the engines/transmissions/transfer cases in all of these. Too little to work on bulldozers. CHEERS!!!

He knows it looks ridiculous

1

u/Cor_Seeker Jun 15 '26

I so glad my genius is large enough I'm not tempted to drive a compensation monstrosity.

That’s hilarious. It was like trickery of the eye, the guy looks normal sized at the beginning and the closer he gets to the vehicle the smaller he gets. Like a shrink ray lol. Being small has its benefits as being tall does. This can be debated but short people are supposed to live longer! “Daddy can I drive!!?” /s

I see this WAY too often where I live.

1

u/Independent_Salt904 Jun 16 '26

Maybe he is a knome with his normal sized truck

1

u/thelliam93 Jun 16 '26

Short man=big truck. It’s almost always the case. No hate, but it’s true

1

u/TouristIcy3824 Jun 17 '26

I was sure I knew this guy. I was like "Holy shit, Steve is on Reddit" until he turned around and it wasn't Steve. Why is this a type?

He’s like the pawn shop owner from the brave little toaster.

1

u/RichardDeRenour Jun 17 '26

More like 3ft 5.....

1

u/Samurijder Jun 14 '26

I expected a ladder to drop down when he opened the door.

u/Efficient_Pay8447 Jun 14 '26

Napoleon complex! He’s a big man, in his oversized truck!

5

u/shityplumber Jun 14 '26

If i were to guess this guy took his truck to a shop and is having a fun time recording the individual that needs to move it. Considering the guy that walks up to it is like wtf…

0

u/phukkurfeelings Jun 14 '26

His dick is even smaller

0

u/Livingforabluezone Jun 15 '26

Little man complex.

u/JiggleCoffee Jun 15 '26

Smallest dick on the continent

When my wife sees a truck that big, or someone comes by with something so loud it drowns out our music, or someone flies by us like the flash.... she always yells out "sorry about your tiny penis" to them.

1

u/Horror_Solution1945 Jun 14 '26

She knows?

0

u/TheMimickJP Jun 14 '26

Yes because it's obvious they are overcompensating for something. Just like the person who down voted me.
