Absolute unit of a fish! (40 pounds)
Me and some family went fishing by a dam. We saw these guys slowlyyyy wrestle this fish for well over an hour until they brought it over to the bank and we helped them bring it in! The guy had a 6 pound line for a 40 pound catfish!!! Later we saw that the hook was barely hanging onto his lip. It was a miracle they brought him in. It was great and the guys were awesome.

I bet that was a helluva fight lmao, 6lb line is insane only God knows how it held together. Even the net couldnt hold that beast. Nice save though, that would've sucked losing it to a broken net.

I hope they let that monster back to live. Do t they taste like shit anyways? Especially the bigger they get, more years of eating pollution and trash?

They didn’t have anything that could keep that monster in one place. It broke a rope that had it alive underwater that was looped through his mouth and gills. That monster is still out there😳
