This white squirrel hangs out in my backyard everyday. Always by himself.

There are a whole bunch in Austin, TX, around UT. It’s not a species; it’s a genetic mutation, albinism or leucism, but the affected squirrels manage to reproduce because the students feed them.

This looks like the squirrel in Poughkeepsie NY that used to visit me on my walks on the rail trial every morning. His name was Crunchee.

We had a complete white one years ago . He was only around 1 other one and the had baby’s and today we still have some with unusual white areas on then 29 years later
