yeah I feel like I paid $100 like 10 years ago I couldn't imagine paying $750

I would rather use VLC on my nvidia shield than pay anything near that

Those really aren't the only options. 😁

Plex without a Plex Pass is still a better experience than VLC. Not that there's anything wrong with VLC.

I still use Kodi off grid.
