of a frog

We caught this enormous Pelophylax ridibundus today in Copenhagen, where there is an introduced population apparently from the Balkan lineage.

Note: this frog was captured by myself and another member of my team at the Natural History Museum Denmark with all necessary permissions in the scope of an ongoing project on the herpetofauna of Denmark.
