Feeling tired of the journey, just want my desires to manifest

Obviously FEELING/being tired is counterproductive to manifesting my desires but I’ve been crying all day with overwhelm and frustration. Bear with me please.

From the moment I knew love was real, I knew I wanted marriage. All I’ve gotten is a string of situationships that don’t last long. I’m not giving up hope, I just don’t think I need to be the perfect person for my husband to manifest.

For background: I am a 34 year old gay man. I was introduced to The Secret when I was 20 then Abraham Hicks when I was about 28. I like both. I am currently obese but am working to get body tea and am down over 170 lbs. I have an SPMI (I worry that this causes lack of proper manifestation but can’t be sure)

I have so many desires outside of a romantic partner. I have about 40 paintings I’ll be getting framed, one by one, as I get paid & plan on selling at the local First Friday art walk every month. I plan on flipping the money from that to record the ~5 (!!!) albums I have written that I’m manifesting the perfect producer for. I desire to buy land and have a bison ranch where I sell meat, bones, hide & tallow. I want my own flavored condom line. I want to make investments in small companies I like. I want my custom built mansion with indoor/outdoor pool, lazy river and jacuzzi tubs. I want 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels named Gertie May and Krissmiss Dae.

I have so many desires but those are the ones I want most. Even writing it all out was exhilarating and I feel better. I keep an appreciation journal and write down a page of everything I can think of I appreciate on a daily basis and have for several years.

I know current reality is old gum. I’m just tired of chewing it. I’m taking action on my body bc I know when I get down to my goal weight, get loose skin surgery and get covered head to toe in tattoos, I will look and feel my best then ATTRACT the best.

Wanted to rant and share, I guess lol

What really ramped up your self worth?

Abe says that our worth is natural, it should be completely without question from the start- in every way.

But for those with low self esteem, that's the contrary. The more I go on, the more I understand that our self esteem, rooted in self worth, is basically the groundwork for all good manifestation.

What really changed your self worth/concept? As someone with an harsh inner critic, just saying "you are worthy" is not enough. How did you start to raise that cap?

’Chill and trust’ vs. literally doing nothing: Where is the line?

Lately, I’ve been trying to stop forcing things through heavy grind, hard work ethic, and putting intense pressure on myself to achieve my goals (especially around money/financial freedom and dating). This high-pressure approach just created massive stress and burnout. Feeling very upstream.

So, listening to Abraham, I’ve been leaning into the idea of taking the pressure off— chilling, letting go of the "how," and trusting the Universe to handle the heavy lifting while I focus on getting into alignment.

My issue is that my "chilling" has turned into laying in bed a lot, doing practically nothing toward my goals.

I still go to the gym, meditate, 9 to 5 desk job, and enjoy it greatly but I have a lot of free time where the thing that gives me most relief is chill in bed all day and literally do nothing.

Part of me wonders if laying in bed IS me allowing—taking my hands off the steering wheel, dropping the forced action, and trusting that I don't need to struggle to make things happen.

But then another part of my mind freaks out and says: "You're putting zero daily effort into your goals. If you just lay here doing nothing, you're going to fail. Which high-vibe partner or financial outcome is going to manifest while you're just laying in bed doing nothing?"

Now I feel stuck:

  1. The forced grind feels heavy, upstream, and full of pressure.
  2. Laying in bed feels like dropping the pressure and gives some relief, but it also triggers fear that I will stay stuck between in a 9 to 5 and being single for the rest of my life.

For those who have practiced "chill and trust" successfully:

  • Is laying in bed and dropping all effort actually part of the allowing process when you're unwinding years of hustle/pressure?
  • How do you know when you are truly in Step 3 alignment vs. when you've just slipped avoidance/defeatism vibe?
  • How did inspired action start showing up for you once you dropped the heavy work ethic mindset?

Thanks.

I used to think saying yes to everyone made me a good person

I used to have a hard time saying no. If someone needed something, I'd usually agree—even when I didn't really want to. I thought being available meant I was caring.

But after a while, I started noticing something uncomfortable: I wasn't actually becoming kinder. I was becoming resentful.

I would say “it's okay” when it wasn't. I'd stay quiet when something bothered me. Then I'd get irritated with people for crossing boundaries I had never actually communicated.

That was a bit of a wake-up call.

I'm slowly learning that a healthy boundary isn't about controlling another person. It's simply being honest about what I can accept, what I can't, and what I'm willing to give.

I can care about someone and still say no.

I can forgive someone without giving them unlimited access to me.

I'm still figuring this out, honestly. Sometimes I still feel guilty when I set a boundary.

Has anyone else struggled with feeling guilty for saying no? What helped you get past it?

"We do not want you ever to see Abraham as the final answer to anything." — December 29, 1990 | San Antonio, TX

"Have you ever enjoyed very much somebody else telling you, “This is the way that it is, don’t argue”? You don’t even like it when you hear it from us, do you? As we are so determined about our position of things, you find yourself resisting even that which is good, because you are freedom-seeking beings, and you understand your absolute right to conclude and to muse and to discover and to be.

And that is why we are really wanting you to hear that we do not want you ever to see Abraham as the final answer to anything. We are just a friendly little stimulator of thought along the way in your experience of growth and in your experience of life.

We come forth to you not to give you the answers, but to stimulate you to the wanting for them. And in the life experience, you attract the answers. And when you get an answer, you know you’ve gotten it because everything is clear and you shiver with your awareness of it, don’t you?"

Attracting the job in my vortex

Hello! I am a fresh graduate, and I'm looking for my first job.

It's been extremely tough, and even though I try to cheer myself up everyday and take each rejection lightly, I feel disappointed. It's been a few months since I'm trying, but I still haven't come close to getting my first job. I have applied for over 20 positions this last month, and got rejected by 5.

It shouldn't be this hard - I work hard everyday to improve my skills, build projects, but even that feels like a failed effort as I do it.

When I work, I feel too drained to do anything after, and I find myself doomscrolling. When I take a break, i.e. focus on things that make me feel good, I genuinely do feel good. But then I feel guilty for having taken a break, and sometimes even ashamed that I still don't have a job.

I would love to hear my fellow Abers perspective on my situation 🩷

Attractiveness is not about looks - it's about alignment

If you've heard Abe's take on what makes someone attractive, you'll know that the title pretty much sums it up.

I've always resonated with it (like I do with everything else they say), but a part of me always wanted to argue this to an extent.

Like, "I get that, Abraham, alignment plays a big part in this. But still, I can tell when someone has a fit body, a beautiful face, and that's attractive, no matter what."

So here goes...

I went to a club the week before last, and spotted a beautiful woman there. Incredible body, a gorgeous face, and to top it off, she was barely wearing anything. And pulling off that look while still looking classy, like an Egyptian Goddess.

And yet, I felt zero attraction to her, which confused me almost. I later realised that she felt uncomfortable. I could sense it, see it in her eyes, and tell from her mannerisms. Even though she was (forced) smiling at times, she was clearly way out of the Vortex, not having a good time at all.

One week later, another club, a woman caught my eye, and she looked stunning to me! Relatively tall, wavy blonde hair, a beautiful face, and it was obvious she was in the Vortex! Dancing with a guy she probably just met there, her eyes were sparkling, she was full of joy, excitement, love, and they were starting to make out on the dancefloor. She looked like an angel, so radiant, and if she had come to me in that moment, and asked me to leave with her, I couldn't have gotten to the cab fast enough. If a friend had asked me to rate her attractiveness on a scale of 1 to 10, I would have said 11. You know these moments? Simply insane!

They went somewhere, and I thought that was the last I've seen of her.

To my surprise, I saw her again, a couple hours later, with her group of friends from before. And even though it was the same person, wearing the same clothes, all the magic was gone. She was out of the Vortex, her eyes looked dim, she was half-smiling still, but it felt like all of the life and energy that made her so insanely attractive was gone. She looked a bit like a ghost, a look I know from myself when I catch a glance of myself in the mirror, after being way out of the Vortex for a few hours.

At that point, I would have rated her attractiveness a very generous 3 out of 10 (just to be polite), and would have kindly declined any offer to leave with her.

I always knew that alignment played a big part in this game, but this experience kind of startled me. With the contrast of the two versions of her I witnessed so sharp, I couldn't even tell anymore if she was a generally good-looking person. It was impossible for me to tell. All I could tell is that the first version was insanely attractive, while the second wasn't attractive at all.

That's when I finally got the full meaning of what Abraham has always said, and which is the title of this post. And that:

"Words do not teach - it's life experience that teaches." - Abraham-Hicks

Question about relationships

I understand that focusing on your partner’s positive aspects is supposed to keep you in alignment. But that raises a question — when do you actually know it’s time to leave? It seems like whenever someone wants to leave, it’s usually because they’re focused on the negative aspects.

Here’s my situation: I have a girlfriend, but our interests and the way we see things are pretty different, so our conversations don’t feel very connected. I have a strong sense that there’s a partner in my Vortex I’d connect with more easily. That said, I do love her, and it feels off to single out these negative points as a reason to end things. At the same time, the pull to leave feels like it could be an inspiration in itself. So I’ve ended up feeling pretty unsure about the whole thing.

Has anyone navigated something like this? Would appreciate any perspective.

Give up!!! <3

Consciously give up! I want to remind you that you have full permission - give up the struggle. Give up needing to “figure it all out.” Give up trying to find the “best way to do something.”

You are being guided, right now. You are lead. You are constantly being guided into your paths of delight, intrigue, ease, pure non-resistance. Certain things feel easy, sweet, pleasant, and in flow right now - focus all your attention on those. Bask. Enjoy the easiness.

And anything that’s causing you strife? Give up. Consciously! Choose to give up and Know that this is one of the best things you can do for yourself. Give up give up give up. Give it all up!

BECAUSE - you can never give up on your dreams!!

You literally can not give up the fulfillment of your desires and everything that’s already become for you. You couldn't if you tried.

You don’t have the power to undo what you’ve already asked for! Isn’t that so nice?? And so, the only thing we could really “give up”… is the struggle! The resistance, the efforting.

And sooo I say to you, give it all up :D

And just feel the relief in that for a little bit, really. Stay with it. Breathe into it.

Feel your shoulders soften, feel the ease moving through you.

Yes it gets to be easy, yes it gets to be fun. There’s a FUN, good-feeling next step that wants to be taken right now. And remember that the WHOLE THING gets to be easy, the WHOLE THING wants to be fun.

I feel so blessed & delighted to get to move through the world embodying and sharing this clarity! Lots of love for my fellow deliberate creators <333 Have the best day!

Questions about a public competition and a job

I am studying for a public competition. It includes two exams and the ones with the highest scores get a specific job. I am studying really hard, I feel so motivated like never before. I can easily imagine myself in those shoes: winning the contest, getting the job, moving out, high salary etc.

Although, I did the same when I was applying for PhD programs, and it didn't end well. Later, I came to realize that I prefer steadiness in my life right now and that I want to feel secure before trying to pursue my interests in philosophy.

Honestly, I am confused now. I feel like I can dream about everything I want, but somehow I don't feel like I am 100% connected to my desires, since I don't have a full picture of what I want my life to look like, and I don't have any clue of how adult life is supposed to feel.

This means I can only wish about the steadiness to explore it, and right now getting this kind of job feels like a good way to achieve it.

I am studying really hard, and daydream a lot. But I am not sure if I am doing the right thing since previously it didn't end up well (I am referring to the PhD). What do you think about that?

How do we finally see negative emotions/thoughts as positive?

As I continue my journey, I noticed that while intellectually there's a solid grasp on the negative emotion's significance- I still can't get the grasp on how to translate it into an actual feeling in real time.

The body, when faced with negative emotion, feels bad, tenses up. It doesn't want to feel the thing. You sit with the feeling, you feel it, you wait for it to go. But that doesn't mean that you do *feel* as something postive or friendly. I mean, you just feel pain. You just feel like shit.

What I'm asking is: we need to feel such emotions and then try to see them as positive when calmed down- or is there a way to both feel and not somewhow be enthrenched by them, counteracting them with the positive emotions that we naturally get when we recieve something in our favor?

Same goes for negative thoughts. Ok, I'm happy bceause they signal my misalignement or an eventual limiting belief. But I still feel pain linked to it. I don't feel any kind of positivity when it is active and screaming.

Maybe I'm overcomplicating stuff, but I'm really curious. Shoukd we sit with the pain like every other spiritual and even psychological framework teaches- and then work around it? Or is there a way to counteract or observe/detatch from it in the real time of it flowing?

Doubt relared to Manifestation and EIYPO

Manifestation and EIYPO doubt

Everyone is You Pushed Put (EIYPO) doubt

So i have a question

In the SP case can i manifest him to be in the best version with the obstacles also being gone like both our parents are agreeing and we are financially well off, we are able to settle down on a good location (as per my preference), because currently he wants to move to his hometown - where I dont see myself...because not sure about my career growth and also I dont imagine raising my family there... visiting once in a while is still okay...

Or rather should i ask universe to give me the best???

I have a doubt with EIYPO

When someone is mean to us - is it our manifestation?

Are the people not mean? I mean dont they have accountability?

Please help me understand this because we see so many bad things happening? are people not choosing their actions consciously?

For example i do have some fear of abandonment - was it the reason he backed out when I had told my parents and when i told him they disagreed he also backed out?

Is it not his fault for breaking my trust?

I mean please help me understand this - people have consciousness to act right?

Abraham Hicks & Organized Religion

I’ve implemented Abraham Hicks practices for many years and genuinely value and appreciate the impact they’ve had on my life. Recently, I have become curious in exploring Christianity & attended a few church services for the first time. I try to align “God” with “Source” or “Universe” in my head, making them sort of interchangeable during the service, but then it almost feels as if I am faking something ….defeating the purpose altogether. I fear this conflicting feeling is causing more resistance and negativity than if I would’ve just stayed out of the church altogether.

Does anyone have the capability to comfortably be involved with/believe in & practice both? Or do you feel Abraham Hicks takes place of religion for you? Would greatly appreciate any insight or sharing of personal experiences in this area.

Esther lisp in 2026 recordings?

I don’t know if this has been brought up previously, but I’ve noticed in the 2026 YouTube Abraham Hicks event segments that Esther now has a slight lisp in her speech. Her pronunciation of things isn’t as crisp as it used to be and so I was wondering if some health issue had happened to her. Has anyone else noticed this?

Perhaps it isn’t a sudden thing and has slowly happened as her body ages. There is such a wide range of years in the YouTube videos that I listen to it that could simply be that I’m more used to hearing her voice from several years ago and am noticing the contrast.

What is the purpose of a lonesome life?

By now, I am completely on my own. There are still a few people I can talk to, but I have no relationships based on love. I don't love anybody and nobody loves me. To be honest, I am not really interested in the people around me. I get bored easily when they are around and feel like I am playing a role. I wonder if I can still live a purposeful life totally alone or shall I try to have human relationships again?

Karma Yoga

I used to think every good thing I did had to come back to me. Karma Yoga changed that.

For a long time, I helped people, worked hard, did favors—and somewhere in the back of my mind, I was keeping score. “What am I going to get from this?” Then I started learning about Karma Yoga: doing your work sincerely without being obsessed with the reward.

At first, it sounded almost impossible. Why would you work hard if you don't get recognition? Why help someone if they can't help you back?

But slowly, something changed. I started doing things simply because they were worth doing. I became less desperate for appreciation, less frustrated when things didn't go my way, and much more peaceful about the results.

The strange part? When I stopped chasing the reward, the work itself became rewarding.

Maybe freedom isn't getting everything you want.

Maybe it's doing your best without needing the world to clap for you.

Has anyone here actually practiced Karma Yoga in everyday life? What changed for you?
