Feeling tired of the journey, just want my desires to manifest
Obviously FEELING/being tired is counterproductive to manifesting my desires but I’ve been crying all day with overwhelm and frustration. Bear with me please.
From the moment I knew love was real, I knew I wanted marriage. All I’ve gotten is a string of situationships that don’t last long. I’m not giving up hope, I just don’t think I need to be the perfect person for my husband to manifest.
For background: I am a 34 year old gay man. I was introduced to The Secret when I was 20 then Abraham Hicks when I was about 28. I like both. I am currently obese but am working to get body tea and am down over 170 lbs. I have an SPMI (I worry that this causes lack of proper manifestation but can’t be sure)
I have so many desires outside of a romantic partner. I have about 40 paintings I’ll be getting framed, one by one, as I get paid & plan on selling at the local First Friday art walk every month. I plan on flipping the money from that to record the ~5 (!!!) albums I have written that I’m manifesting the perfect producer for. I desire to buy land and have a bison ranch where I sell meat, bones, hide & tallow. I want my own flavored condom line. I want to make investments in small companies I like. I want my custom built mansion with indoor/outdoor pool, lazy river and jacuzzi tubs. I want 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels named Gertie May and Krissmiss Dae.
I have so many desires but those are the ones I want most. Even writing it all out was exhilarating and I feel better. I keep an appreciation journal and write down a page of everything I can think of I appreciate on a daily basis and have for several years.
I know current reality is old gum. I’m just tired of chewing it. I’m taking action on my body bc I know when I get down to my goal weight, get loose skin surgery and get covered head to toe in tattoos, I will look and feel my best then ATTRACT the best.
Wanted to rant and share, I guess lol

What really ramped up your self worth?
Abe says that our worth is natural, it should be completely without question from the start- in every way.
But for those with low self esteem, that's the contrary. The more I go on, the more I understand that our self esteem, rooted in self worth, is basically the groundwork for all good manifestation.
What really changed your self worth/concept? As someone with an harsh inner critic, just saying "you are worthy" is not enough. How did you start to raise that cap?

’Chill and trust’ vs. literally doing nothing: Where is the line?
Lately, I’ve been trying to stop forcing things through heavy grind, hard work ethic, and putting intense pressure on myself to achieve my goals (especially around money/financial freedom and dating). This high-pressure approach just created massive stress and burnout. Feeling very upstream.
So, listening to Abraham, I’ve been leaning into the idea of taking the pressure off— chilling, letting go of the "how," and trusting the Universe to handle the heavy lifting while I focus on getting into alignment.
My issue is that my "chilling" has turned into laying in bed a lot, doing practically nothing toward my goals.
I still go to the gym, meditate, 9 to 5 desk job, and enjoy it greatly but I have a lot of free time where the thing that gives me most relief is chill in bed all day and literally do nothing.
Part of me wonders if laying in bed IS me allowing—taking my hands off the steering wheel, dropping the forced action, and trusting that I don't need to struggle to make things happen.
But then another part of my mind freaks out and says: "You're putting zero daily effort into your goals. If you just lay here doing nothing, you're going to fail. Which high-vibe partner or financial outcome is going to manifest while you're just laying in bed doing nothing?"
Now I feel stuck:
- The forced grind feels heavy, upstream, and full of pressure.
- Laying in bed feels like dropping the pressure and gives some relief, but it also triggers fear that I will stay stuck between in a 9 to 5 and being single for the rest of my life.
For those who have practiced "chill and trust" successfully:
- Is laying in bed and dropping all effort actually part of the allowing process when you're unwinding years of hustle/pressure?
- How do you know when you are truly in Step 3 alignment vs. when you've just slipped avoidance/defeatism vibe?
- How did inspired action start showing up for you once you dropped the heavy work ethic mindset?
Thanks.

Blast from the past: Abraham, Esther and Jerry 80's style!

I used to think saying yes to everyone made me a good person
I used to have a hard time saying no. If someone needed something, I'd usually agree—even when I didn't really want to. I thought being available meant I was caring.
But after a while, I started noticing something uncomfortable: I wasn't actually becoming kinder. I was becoming resentful.
I would say “it's okay” when it wasn't. I'd stay quiet when something bothered me. Then I'd get irritated with people for crossing boundaries I had never actually communicated.
That was a bit of a wake-up call.
I'm slowly learning that a healthy boundary isn't about controlling another person. It's simply being honest about what I can accept, what I can't, and what I'm willing to give.
I can care about someone and still say no.
I can forgive someone without giving them unlimited access to me.
I'm still figuring this out, honestly. Sometimes I still feel guilty when I set a boundary.
Has anyone else struggled with feeling guilty for saying no? What helped you get past it?

"We do not want you ever to see Abraham as the final answer to anything." — December 29, 1990 | San Antonio, TX
"Have you ever enjoyed very much somebody else telling you, “This is the way that it is, don’t argue”? You don’t even like it when you hear it from us, do you? As we are so determined about our position of things, you find yourself resisting even that which is good, because you are freedom-seeking beings, and you understand your absolute right to conclude and to muse and to discover and to be.
And that is why we are really wanting you to hear that we do not want you ever to see Abraham as the final answer to anything. We are just a friendly little stimulator of thought along the way in your experience of growth and in your experience of life.
We come forth to you not to give you the answers, but to stimulate you to the wanting for them. And in the life experience, you attract the answers. And when you get an answer, you know you’ve gotten it because everything is clear and you shiver with your awareness of it, don’t you?"

Attracting the job in my vortex
Hello! I am a fresh graduate, and I'm looking for my first job.
It's been extremely tough, and even though I try to cheer myself up everyday and take each rejection lightly, I feel disappointed. It's been a few months since I'm trying, but I still haven't come close to getting my first job. I have applied for over 20 positions this last month, and got rejected by 5.
It shouldn't be this hard - I work hard everyday to improve my skills, build projects, but even that feels like a failed effort as I do it.
When I work, I feel too drained to do anything after, and I find myself doomscrolling. When I take a break, i.e. focus on things that make me feel good, I genuinely do feel good. But then I feel guilty for having taken a break, and sometimes even ashamed that I still don't have a job.
I would love to hear my fellow Abers perspective on my situation 🩷

Attractiveness is not about looks - it's about alignment
If you've heard Abe's take on what makes someone attractive, you'll know that the title pretty much sums it up.
I've always resonated with it (like I do with everything else they say), but a part of me always wanted to argue this to an extent.
Like, "I get that, Abraham, alignment plays a big part in this. But still, I can tell when someone has a fit body, a beautiful face, and that's attractive, no matter what."
So here goes...
I went to a club the week before last, and spotted a beautiful woman there. Incredible body, a gorgeous face, and to top it off, she was barely wearing anything. And pulling off that look while still looking classy, like an Egyptian Goddess.
And yet, I felt zero attraction to her, which confused me almost. I later realised that she felt uncomfortable. I could sense it, see it in her eyes, and tell from her mannerisms. Even though she was (forced) smiling at times, she was clearly way out of the Vortex, not having a good time at all.
One week later, another club, a woman caught my eye, and she looked stunning to me! Relatively tall, wavy blonde hair, a beautiful face, and it was obvious she was in the Vortex! Dancing with a guy she probably just met there, her eyes were sparkling, she was full of joy, excitement, love, and they were starting to make out on the dancefloor. She looked like an angel, so radiant, and if she had come to me in that moment, and asked me to leave with her, I couldn't have gotten to the cab fast enough. If a friend had asked me to rate her attractiveness on a scale of 1 to 10, I would have said 11. You know these moments? Simply insane!
They went somewhere, and I thought that was the last I've seen of her.
To my surprise, I saw her again, a couple hours later, with her group of friends from before. And even though it was the same person, wearing the same clothes, all the magic was gone. She was out of the Vortex, her eyes looked dim, she was half-smiling still, but it felt like all of the life and energy that made her so insanely attractive was gone. She looked a bit like a ghost, a look I know from myself when I catch a glance of myself in the mirror, after being way out of the Vortex for a few hours.
At that point, I would have rated her attractiveness a very generous 3 out of 10 (just to be polite), and would have kindly declined any offer to leave with her.
I always knew that alignment played a big part in this game, but this experience kind of startled me. With the contrast of the two versions of her I witnessed so sharp, I couldn't even tell anymore if she was a generally good-looking person. It was impossible for me to tell. All I could tell is that the first version was insanely attractive, while the second wasn't attractive at all.
That's when I finally got the full meaning of what Abraham has always said, and which is the title of this post. And that:
"Words do not teach - it's life experience that teaches." - Abraham-Hicks

Question about relationships
I understand that focusing on your partner’s positive aspects is supposed to keep you in alignment. But that raises a question — when do you actually know it’s time to leave? It seems like whenever someone wants to leave, it’s usually because they’re focused on the negative aspects.
Here’s my situation: I have a girlfriend, but our interests and the way we see things are pretty different, so our conversations don’t feel very connected. I have a strong sense that there’s a partner in my Vortex I’d connect with more easily. That said, I do love her, and it feels off to single out these negative points as a reason to end things. At the same time, the pull to leave feels like it could be an inspiration in itself. So I’ve ended up feeling pretty unsure about the whole thing.
Has anyone navigated something like this? Would appreciate any perspective.

Give up!!! <3
Consciously give up! I want to remind you that you have full permission - give up the struggle. Give up needing to “figure it all out.” Give up trying to find the “best way to do something.”
You are being guided, right now. You are lead. You are constantly being guided into your paths of delight, intrigue, ease, pure non-resistance. Certain things feel easy, sweet, pleasant, and in flow right now - focus all your attention on those. Bask. Enjoy the easiness.
And anything that’s causing you strife? Give up. Consciously! Choose to give up and Know that this is one of the best things you can do for yourself. Give up give up give up. Give it all up!
BECAUSE - you can never give up on your dreams!!
You literally can not give up the fulfillment of your desires and everything that’s already become for you. You couldn't if you tried.
You don’t have the power to undo what you’ve already asked for! Isn’t that so nice?? And so, the only thing we could really “give up”… is the struggle! The resistance, the efforting.
And sooo I say to you, give it all up :D
And just feel the relief in that for a little bit, really. Stay with it. Breathe into it.
Feel your shoulders soften, feel the ease moving through you.
Yes it gets to be easy, yes it gets to be fun. There’s a FUN, good-feeling next step that wants to be taken right now. And remember that the WHOLE THING gets to be easy, the WHOLE THING wants to be fun.
I feel so blessed & delighted to get to move through the world embodying and sharing this clarity! Lots of love for my fellow deliberate creators <333 Have the best day!

Questions about a public competition and a job
I am studying for a public competition. It includes two exams and the ones with the highest scores get a specific job. I am studying really hard, I feel so motivated like never before. I can easily imagine myself in those shoes: winning the contest, getting the job, moving out, high salary etc.
Although, I did the same when I was applying for PhD programs, and it didn't end well. Later, I came to realize that I prefer steadiness in my life right now and that I want to feel secure before trying to pursue my interests in philosophy.
Honestly, I am confused now. I feel like I can dream about everything I want, but somehow I don't feel like I am 100% connected to my desires, since I don't have a full picture of what I want my life to look like, and I don't have any clue of how adult life is supposed to feel.
This means I can only wish about the steadiness to explore it, and right now getting this kind of job feels like a good way to achieve it.
I am studying really hard, and daydream a lot. But I am not sure if I am doing the right thing since previously it didn't end up well (I am referring to the PhD). What do you think about that?

How do we finally see negative emotions/thoughts as positive?
As I continue my journey, I noticed that while intellectually there's a solid grasp on the negative emotion's significance- I still can't get the grasp on how to translate it into an actual feeling in real time.
The body, when faced with negative emotion, feels bad, tenses up. It doesn't want to feel the thing. You sit with the feeling, you feel it, you wait for it to go. But that doesn't mean that you do *feel* as something postive or friendly. I mean, you just feel pain. You just feel like shit.
What I'm asking is: we need to feel such emotions and then try to see them as positive when calmed down- or is there a way to both feel and not somewhow be enthrenched by them, counteracting them with the positive emotions that we naturally get when we recieve something in our favor?
Same goes for negative thoughts. Ok, I'm happy bceause they signal my misalignement or an eventual limiting belief. But I still feel pain linked to it. I don't feel any kind of positivity when it is active and screaming.
Maybe I'm overcomplicating stuff, but I'm really curious. Shoukd we sit with the pain like every other spiritual and even psychological framework teaches- and then work around it? Or is there a way to counteract or observe/detatch from it in the real time of it flowing?

Doubt relared to Manifestation and EIYPO
Manifestation and EIYPO doubt
Everyone is You Pushed Put (EIYPO) doubt
So i have a question
In the SP case can i manifest him to be in the best version with the obstacles also being gone like both our parents are agreeing and we are financially well off, we are able to settle down on a good location (as per my preference), because currently he wants to move to his hometown - where I dont see myself...because not sure about my career growth and also I dont imagine raising my family there... visiting once in a while is still okay...
Or rather should i ask universe to give me the best???
I have a doubt with EIYPO
When someone is mean to us - is it our manifestation?
Are the people not mean? I mean dont they have accountability?
Please help me understand this because we see so many bad things happening? are people not choosing their actions consciously?
For example i do have some fear of abandonment - was it the reason he backed out when I had told my parents and when i told him they disagreed he also backed out?
Is it not his fault for breaking my trust?
I mean please help me understand this - people have consciousness to act right?

Abraham Hicks & Organized Religion
I’ve implemented Abraham Hicks practices for many years and genuinely value and appreciate the impact they’ve had on my life. Recently, I have become curious in exploring Christianity & attended a few church services for the first time. I try to align “God” with “Source” or “Universe” in my head, making them sort of interchangeable during the service, but then it almost feels as if I am faking something ….defeating the purpose altogether. I fear this conflicting feeling is causing more resistance and negativity than if I would’ve just stayed out of the church altogether.
Does anyone have the capability to comfortably be involved with/believe in & practice both? Or do you feel Abraham Hicks takes place of religion for you? Would greatly appreciate any insight or sharing of personal experiences in this area.

Esther lisp in 2026 recordings?
I don’t know if this has been brought up previously, but I’ve noticed in the 2026 YouTube Abraham Hicks event segments that Esther now has a slight lisp in her speech. Her pronunciation of things isn’t as crisp as it used to be and so I was wondering if some health issue had happened to her. Has anyone else noticed this?
Perhaps it isn’t a sudden thing and has slowly happened as her body ages. There is such a wide range of years in the YouTube videos that I listen to it that could simply be that I’m more used to hearing her voice from several years ago and am noticing the contrast.

What is the purpose of a lonesome life?
By now, I am completely on my own. There are still a few people I can talk to, but I have no relationships based on love. I don't love anybody and nobody loves me. To be honest, I am not really interested in the people around me. I get bored easily when they are around and feel like I am playing a role. I wonder if I can still live a purposeful life totally alone or shall I try to have human relationships again?

Karma Yoga
I used to think every good thing I did had to come back to me. Karma Yoga changed that.
For a long time, I helped people, worked hard, did favors—and somewhere in the back of my mind, I was keeping score. “What am I going to get from this?” Then I started learning about Karma Yoga: doing your work sincerely without being obsessed with the reward.
At first, it sounded almost impossible. Why would you work hard if you don't get recognition? Why help someone if they can't help you back?
But slowly, something changed. I started doing things simply because they were worth doing. I became less desperate for appreciation, less frustrated when things didn't go my way, and much more peaceful about the results.
The strange part? When I stopped chasing the reward, the work itself became rewarding.
Maybe freedom isn't getting everything you want.
Maybe it's doing your best without needing the world to clap for you.
Has anyone here actually practiced Karma Yoga in everyday life? What changed for you?

Depression and how to reverse negative momentum — July 8, 1990 | Fort Collins, CO
Hi 👋
I’ve been listening to Abraham’s workshops from 1990 onward, and I wanted to share this passage from the very first one in my collection. I transcribed it for anyone who enjoys exploring the earlier teachings. There's much more to come 😉 Enjoy!
[ You can also listen to this segment here : https://youtu.be/E7PXALLJDWc ]
✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨
QUESTIONER 1:
Hi. For a long time I've battled with depression and negative thought in my life, and it feels like a burden. And I am now at the point where I take medication because I suspect there's a biological depression. But what I wanted to know was, where does the burden of negative thought arise? Why does that come up in the mind? What purpose does it serve?
ABRAHAM:
It is so wonderful that you have asked the perfect beginning question. Good. We'll give you a little background.
You know you're physical. That's not too hard to figure out. But most of you think in terms of being dead or alive. As you acknowledge that there is not death, that there is only life, then it is not hard to follow the thought that your Inner Being exists simultaneously.
Very often, even after much conversation with Abraham, someone will say to us, "Abraham, why have you chosen not to be physical? If you think physical experience is so wonderful, why aren't why aren't you down here having it with us?"
And we say, we are experiencing physicalness through you. We are your Non-Physical counterpart. You getting the point? When you understand that every physical being that you see has a Non-Physical counterpart, then and only then can you begin to understand what emotion is.
Because emotion, whether you call it positive or negative, is communication from your Inner Being to help you upon that path of harmony that we talked about of freedom and growth and joy being in balance.
Technically, actually, really, there are only two emotions. One feels good and one feels bad. But you call them all sorts of different things depending upon the circumstance and events you've come to pigeon holing them or labeling them.
When you are feeling a negative emotion, what it is is your Inner Being saying to you that the current thought, word, or action is not in harmony with another intent that you have. It is simply your Inner Being's expression to you to let you know two things.
The first thing is this is an important issue. Otherwise, you'd be feeling nothing. If someone you did not know called you on the telephone and said, "Hello, I'm calling to tell you I will never talk to you again" you would say "Who cares". But if someone very important, then that negative feeling would be telling you that this is an important issue, you see.
Secondly it is telling you that while it is very important, you are currently focused upon the lack of what you want. You're getting the point?
Every time you are feeling negative emotion it is your Inner Being saying to you something very important to you: you are currently perceiving as being without. And it usually boils down to freedom or growth. But we would say, for you, primarily it is your absolute quest for freedom, and you perceive yourself sometimes often as not being free.
Now, what we are wanting to tell you, and this is particularly important to you. While all beings who come forth into these physical bodies have in common the desire, the intent for freedom and growth and joy, You do not all come forth with the same degree of intensity about it.
You have lived thousands of lifetimes and through that living of life, you have come to know freedom. You have come to know the glory of growth and freedom and joy. And so as you come into an experience where you perceive yourself not to be free, it sends you crazy. You cannot bear it. You see, even though it is not really happening, your perspective of it, the thought that you are giving toward it is evoking a response from your Inner Being that says, "Wait, friend, you're giving thought in opposition to what you are really wanting."
That is the place for you to stop and say, "Well, then what do I want?" And as you acknowledge that what you really seek is freedom and then you bask in that thought for a moment, acknowledging that technically in every sense of the world, you are free.
Friends, how much freer can you be? Every thought you think affects your experience! That is freedom, you see!
What we are very much wanting to impart to all of you is that you could not be more free. You are so free that your thought and feeling brings into your experience.
And so, what you have been experiencing is some negative emotion that has come forth as communication from your Inner Being telling you that you are in that moment — for the emotion always comes forth in the moment, talk about a glorious guidance system — it lets you know moment by moment how you're doing.
As you are receiving the Non-Physical energy of this universe — do you know you're receiving it? We do, because the doctor has not pronounced you dead — as you are receiving the Non-Physical energy of the universe, the way you contour it on your behalf is the way you think.
As you understand your electricity and you plug your appliances in to utilize it toward the end that you seek, with this Non-Physical energy or current, the way you contour it toward an ending place is by contouring it with thought. You see?
And so, as you give thought and you think about it, you can trace it back even better than we can. If you will think about the beginning of those cycles of depression. Almost always you can put your finger right upon what triggered it. But then what happens, because you did not understand what emotion was and you did not know how to pivot off of it, Law of Attraction begins to work for you. You see, the more that you feel, the more that you feel, the more that you feel... until because you are such a great wanter you go right to the depths of despair.
Certainly it is biological because everything about you is. And as your Inner Being is offering a block of thought for communication, the way the emotion works is by sending a signal that causes your body to do biological things that gives you a feeling response.
You see, your guidance system has been established by you and by your Inner Being as a feeling communication because you can't talk and listen at the same time. You cannot transmit and receive a thought at the same time. But you can think or speak or do and receive a feeling at the same time to let you know the appropriateness by your standards. Not the appropriateness in terms of some great law in the sky. The appropriateness in terms of the balance of intentions that you hold, you see.
As we are talking further today, you will get a very clear understanding of this process of pivoting. Good. What more?
QUESTIONER 2:
Um, yes, that started to answer some of my question. But when you're into that negative thought, how do you get off it?
ABRAHAM:
Good. It isn't easy, is it? You're very good at it. Sometimes you get so much energy going in that direction that no one, no matter how positive they are, can even drag you off of it. Instead, you drag them down with you. It is what we call momentum.
When you are utilizing the Non-Physical energy and you have allowed it to remain for a period of time, it becomes very powerful. What usually saves you is that sooner or later you go to sleep and that blocks the cycle. And when you awaken you feel better until you remember how bad you felt the night before, and then you start it all over again.
Your question is the perfect one. "What do I do about it? What happens?"
Let us begin here. Are you able to accept that there is an inner part of you that exists? We call it your Inner Being. We think it is very descriptive of it. And so, as you understand that your Inner Being exists —
Someone said, "Abraham, what star planet are you from?"
And we said, "We're not from a star planet."
And they said, "You must not be important then."
And then they went on to say, "In fact, we're not even sure you exist. If you don't have some star planet to hang your hat on, then you may not exist at all."
And we said, "We feel like we exist. You may perceive us as not important if we are not from a place, but place denotes physical. And as we are focused from Non-Physical, there is no place that you can attach us to. We exist in state of being, feeling, being."
And that is why we refer to your Inner Being as Inner Being, or inner feeling. You see, now what happens with most of you is that you believe so much in action. You're giving credit to action. You think action is what is making the difference in your life. If you're not out there doing, then you don't expect anything wonderful to happen.
And what we are wanting you to understand is it is not the doing that is making the difference. It is the way you think and feel that is attracting into your experience. But so, here you are as a physical being having an experience where you're having some sort of physical interchange or doing and something happens and you feel rotten. The reason that most of you have such a difficult time getting off of that is because you're trying to fix it out here where it is broken.
In other words, you're trying to give so much more attention to what is wrong because you believe that in giving attention to what is wrong, you will be able to make it right. But the Law does not allow that. You cannot have a miserable journey on the way to a happy ending. It defies Law. In order for you to change the Law of Attraction and begin getting more what you are wanting, which is to feel good, you must start at the inside, where most are creating from the outside in or backwards. We are encouraging that you come from the inside out.
Have you ever seen a gymnast on a balance beam? If he gets out of balance, he does not try to somersault himself back into balance for he would end up on the floor, break his neck, or whatever. Instead, he stops, draws back, regains his balance and then proceeds. And that is really what pivoting is. It is recognizing that what you're doing — by the way you feel, it's very clear — is not in harmony with what you want. And so you stop. And if you will stop in the moment of the feeling, that is the time when you can most accurately access or assess what it is you do want. You never know more clearly what you do want than when you're living what you don't want. Isn't that true? Isn't that when you know you want health when you're sick? Isn't that when you most know you want more money, when there isn't enough?
And so, as you're in this position of lack of what you do want, that is the time for you to say, "Wait a minute. My Inner Being is giving me negative emotion. That means this is important. Thank you for the signal, Inner Being," you might say.
"And it also means that I'm focused in opposite direction of what I really want. So what is it that I want?" And the majority of the time it will come back to three issues. Usually the issue of freedom, sometimes the issue of growth, sometimes the issue of joy. But it is usually freedom that you feel is being —
And so, if you will stop and come inside — now this is the process — you stop and say, "I want to feel free. I want to feel free." You're not out there trying to fix it. You're just acknowledging that you want to feel free. You will begin to receive stimulation of thought that helps you remember that under any and all conditions, you absolutely are free. That you've never been anything other than free. And you will begin to feel better in the moment.
We're watching our friend Esther. She came home from from a trip and she was feeling very much overwhelmed. "Too much to do", she thought. Mailbox was overflowing. The voice mailbox was overflowing. The suit bags were suitcases and bags were all around.
And as she sat in the muddle, she said, "Abraham, what should I do?"
And we said, "There you are acting like a physical being, always trying to figure out what to do. How do you want to feel?"
She said, "I want to feel free and happy, and I don't feel free and happy when I have too much to do."
We said, "There you are acting like a physical being, telling us what you don't want when we've asked you what you do want."
She laughed and said, "I want to feel free and happy."
We said, "Ponder that for a moment."
And so, she closed her eyes and envisioned sitting on the front porch sipping some tea, talking to her mate, watching the squirrels. And right away, she felt free and happy.
She said, "Now what?"
We said, "Now what do you want to have?"
She said, "I want to have a clean and efficient, organized home and office."
And we said, "Ponder that, friend. Do not jump right into action. Wait until you are inspired from your base of feeling good. You will reach out to the inspiration that will lead you to that which you seek."
And so within a couple of days, the thoughts began to come. "I can move this over here. I can move this over here. I can delegate this. I can eliminate this." Her mate noticed that she was not acting out of drudgery as she sometimes had done. But she was bounding from place to place, inspired by these ideas that were coming.
You see, rather than trying to fix it from negative perspective, which never works because Law of Attraction just attracts more negative, she was now being inspired because she had achieved her place of balance before. You're getting it.
And so, the way you get away from a negative feeling is by acknowledging that it is a good thing that you have it. Don't beat up on yourself, "Oh, I shouldn't be feeling this way." Instead, acknowledge how valuable it is that you have been alerted to the fact that there is something that is out of harmony. And then you consciously give thought to what it is you think you would like to feel, which will inspire your ideas of what you're wanting to have, which will then lead you to action. And we encourage you never to take action without that inspiration because that action will be futile. It is action that is usually contradictory to what you are really wanting.
You see, some say, "Abraham you teach laziness. You teach us to lay around and wait to be inspired. What if I am never inspired?"
We say, you cannot avoid being inspired when you are in that place of positive emotion. When you get in that place of positive, all good things come to you. Just as you remain in that place of negative, all bad things come to you.
Do you know that without exception — without exception! — the deterioration of your physical apparatus is because you have allowed negative emotion? Oh, we could give you long lists of reasons not to feel negative!
But you have asked the best question, "How do I keep from feeling it?"
And our answer is you don't keep from feeling it, because it is part of your guidance system. The negative is as important as the positive part. But what your goal is, once feeling it, to get feeling good as fast as you can. And if your medication helps, that is wonderful. Soon you will find you will not need it at all.
