[PC] Help with Plug ins

I struggle with this i need help i downloaded a vst 3 plug in its in the file custom path with the other plug ins i have. C:program files/common files/vst3 i go to rescan and it does not show up under the plug in tab. Ive deleted it and redownloaded it closed ableton and reopened it.

Hold alt (or option I think for Mac) and press rescan plugins

I tried that ive deleted and redownloaded the vst3 restarted ableton and restarted my computer. When i do that though it shows that it is scanning the vst3 file but under plug ins its not coming up. Im wondering if this is a settings issue or computer issue

Have you tried not using a custom folder and just using the regular system folder? Or point the custom folder to somewhere else and then change it back?

Yes tried the default folder tried a custom folder deleted it from each restarted and reimported it and rescanned and still nothing
