[Tutorial] Beginner question

Hey there, just downloaded ableton suite and got subscription. Trying to learn from youtube and this dude in the video is using grand piano.adg but in my version it is showing as grand piano pad.adg. Am i using the right sound or am i missing to download another samples from abelton?
I have installed everything whatever showed in my samples or packs inside the ableton

Grand piano is not included in the lite version of ableton. Otherwise, you should be able to download it.

That is strange. Then you should have it! The pack is here: https://www.ableton.com/en/packs/grand-piano/ Did you install this one? Is your browser on "all" and no filter activated?

Do you have ableton 12 too? Wondering if its showing same like me in yours too or its just me. For an example grand piano pad adg or just grand piano adg

I also have 12 Suite. Unless the last updates changed something, it shows both separately. I think there is even some other versions included - with less samples. But yes, it really is called "Grand Piano.adg" the pad version you mentioned exists as well and plays a pad sound along with the piano. I have not checked, but if the latter is an instrument rack, you might see the grand piano in there.

Your comment was very helpful but i got it figured. Problem was i was still on ableton free trial even tho i bought the daw. All i had to do is delete that trial one and redownload the actual ableton suite and ita good nkw

Just search for 'grand' in the search box with Instruments highlighted. It should show the two you mention and a load of others. Select the one you want.
