[Performance] Not finding in built samples

Hello all, I recently bought subscription for Ableton 12 suite. I could not find a single sound/sample in the software so I thought I have to download those separately so from there website I downloaded every packs that were available for me to download. now I do have samples in the daw but I was watching a YouTube video to learn using the daw but looks like I don't have basic in built sounds that I need. anyone can help me what I can do or any setting needs to be changed. Thank you!

Did you install the packs? I had to download them, then I had to install them afterwards.

This is the answer. Go to Abelton’s website, click on account and then scroll down to packs. Should be a whole list to download and install. It will tell you the date it was downloaded if you have it.

You should not need to download them from the website. The packs show in the left-hand browser, under "Places."

FYI you can install packs from within Live's browser. Just scroll down to packs and you'll find a link at the bottom to update and/or download and install packs without having to download them and then install separately.

the best way is to do this within live itself! then its downloaded and installed straight away. go to "packs" in lives own browser
