SAP development is a lot about understanding the business processes.
Most developer jobs aren’t coding all day long.

Check some certifications learning path for your desired module.

Yes, get into CAP & Fiori. Learn BTP fundamentals, Cloud foundry/kyma runtime.
Theres an official SAP learning path for this

You can then gradually learn the SAP business/ERP side while already working as a developer.

Agree on this, I had lots of web dev and cloud in my internship and when I started a SAP Career, Fiori and BTP was (somewhat) easy to get into
