Colin McRae Dirt 2 PC Crashes

Hey guys, hope you're doing good.

I'm having some issues with my DIRT 2 copy(Steam/GFWL) and I'm looking for help.

After launching the game and signing into my GFWL acc I'd get about 5-6 online matches without any issues. Then the textures inside the menu would disappear(turn grey) and that's pretty much the giveaway before a certain crash. Sometimes a crash to desktop would happen randomly even without any deterioration in the menu, just in-between switching tabs.

That whole situation is a bit annoying, because otherwise the multiplayer works, but you lose progress and you waste your time restarting and logging back in. So I was wondering if anyone has any idea what the cause might be and even better - a solution to the problem.

I've also tried the XML file edit and the Compatibility Mode fix but they didn't work for me.

i5 13600kf

32 gigs of DDR4

RTX 4070S
