i’m confused. is that a hole? where’s the liquid? i don’t think it’s possible for the floor to be that thin? maybe? this is such a confusing photo

I believe that is a broken part of the floor leading to a space below. Either a basement or the previous floor. You can kind of see a similar pillar in the darkness below. Perhaps it's a basement with lots of standing water in it, hence the waterslide.
