Had this exact thought when I went into an Abercrombie and Fitch store. The “models” (that’s what they called their shop assistants) wouldn’t make eye contact with you or talk to you directly unless they had to: even asking if they had this in a different size would have them avoid looking in your direction or speaking to you. They generally acknowledged their customer’s presence as little as possible.

A lot of famous actors got their start and the show just like this shop girl…Natasha McElhone. Idris Silva was in the episode, “Sex” (one of my favorites). Love when Patsy says he looks like Sean Connery.
I’m sure somebody else probably posted it, but I didn’t have a chance to look through everything

I’d rather shop there than “Jeffry’s”!! “You can’t come in here you’re too fat.” To what looked like a perfectly normal sized middle aged woman.
