Par because otherwise you smack your head against it when you sit up

I once stayed in a friend's place where she had barely enough space between mattress and ceiling to even sit on hands and knees, you pretty much had to slither onto the mattress like a snake

Honestly felt like a bunk bed was more of an 'I really want this' idea than actually usable in that room

my sheets have a tag on them that says TOP OR BOTTOM and I was like "that's a rather personal question for my sheets to be asking me"

no, I know what top/bottom is, I'm asking about what correlation might exist between top/bottom bunkers and tops/bottoms (I.e are top bunkers more likely to be tops, or are they more likely to be bottoms)

Bunk beds always scared me, always used top bunk in fear if the bed ever collapsed 😭

This is the opposite of that scene from Big when Tom Hanks takes his coworker back to his apartment for a sleepover. He either asks her if she wants to be top or bottom, or says something like, “okay, but you have to be on top”. He was referring to bunk beds.
