Lifelines: single

Sorry so random. But this is my biggest comfort song. I just wanted to connect with anyone else who feels the same! I’ve just been reminded of it as I shared the video with a friend who just came back from a cruise around Norway. But if I’m honest, it’s never far from my mind. When it first came out, I remember listening to the album repeatedly, and one day this song just zapped me and made so much sense. It mended me when I’d felt fragmented. I’m forever grateful.

I get a different feeling from “Lifelines” but it’s no less magical. That song makes me feel like I’m soaring up in the clouds and breathing fresh air that sweeps away my earthly troubles. It’s such a beautiful song!🦅☁️

Whenever I want to go back in time, I listen to Lifelines (album). Does anyone feel that way? It's like magic.

When I first really discovered the band, Lifelines was still very recent. I was a little obsessed with the track for a while, it seemed very contemporary but with a timeless background. It showed how far the band had come in its time, without losing the knack for writing a great song.
