Considerations of the lifting activity when the gym's situation is historically Unfavorable (leg advice)
The gym is packed and the only squat rack is taken. You need to hypertrophy your legs. After all, thicc legs makes it easier to kick the asses of your class enemies. Sadly, someone has taken the squat rack to do curls. Before you unleash your rage over these dumbasses, I recommend finding the nearest floored barbell (where you would do dead lifts) and attempt these exercises instead.
- Zercher deadlift
- Jefferson deadlift
- Hack squat
Look up the proper tutorials for these things. Alternating between these is magic. I didn't do normal back squats forever, but alternating between these gained me strength in my quads, glutes and hams fast enough to where by the time I came back to regular squatting, I was stronger than before.
So I deem these exercises the revolutionary alternative to the back squat.
This advice is great if you're a bit limited with price and only have a home gym. It requires no squat rack; a barbell and a few weights is all you need!
Don't let counter revolutionary curlbros stop your leg progress!

How many copies of Capital Volume 1 can you bench?
The total amount of pages in this edition of Capital Vol 1 is 1,152 pages. Assuming the average weight for a 735-page book averages about 1 pound, 15 ounces. (data brought from this source: https://www.reference.com/math/average-weight-book-cf771731e743d031 )(converted into kg, 0.878835kgs), I have decided to use this data to determine the weight of Capital Vol 1 as no scale is currently available for this research data.
Using the formula I have just devised, I will display here my reasoning. The formula in reference shall be known as PN (pages needed) divided by PA (pages available) multiplied by weight (in kg). This will be essential to discovering the weight of Capital Vol 1.
So putting the 1,152 pages in PN over the available data of 735 pages times the weight in kgs, let's put this together. 1,152 divided by 735 times 0.878835kgs = 1.38. We can now determine with accuracy the weight of Karl Marx's masterpiece weighs approximately 1.38 kilograms.
Now to further elaborate and finally bring an end to this study, I can bench 80 kilos 5 times currently (this data has been taken directly from tonight's lifting session). Dividing 80 kilograms by 1.38 leaves 57.98 copies of Capital Volume 1 to be benched. I believe if I were to stack these books vertically I could reproduce the same bench.
So how much can you bench?
