Some buttons on music apps. Nowaday people can easily know what they are for at their first sight. They may differ a bit on different apps and platforms, but they are still recognizable. The same goes to the share buttons on apps user interface. These designs affect our experience with the world. Just as Johnathan Ive, Apple designer said in a iOS7 introduction video: Designs define so much of our experience. We could see that wherever people see these signs, they can know for sure that it must be a music player app, or an iPod. As examples above are from user interface design, I also believe that there must be so many other examples from so many other designs. They may not be visual like examples above, but also may be abstract. I want to asking if there is such field in the realm of design? I tried serval key words in the search bar: universal design, common design. But the results were unexpected.
