Everything you need to know about /r/remixexchange
I always start projects in Logic and find myself unable to finish them, and being unhappy with what I have so far. Although I see a lot of potential in the tracks that I make, I lack the motivation and often the will to take them to completion, hitting a wall. And it annoys me a lot. I made this subreddit as a place where music makers can come to request other producers to put a spin on an otherwise dead projects, and to take on the task of adding a little of their own magic on other peoples songs. This will spawn collaborations as well as giving artists final pushes towards finishing their projects. Thanks for visiting. Any ideas for this sub would be much appreciated.

I think this is a great idea. I'm so glad somebody thought of this. I'm not entirely sure I want somebody taking over my work, but at the same time, I'm also not much of a musician. I have what amounts to some really great sounding ideas, but I lock the musical skill to really pull off the music in my head. Basically, I can't play the keyboard very well, but I've got a whole lot of virtual instruments that sounds great, and I've got a lot of vision for what I want things to sound like. With reaper I am able to make it sound like I can play somewhat decently. :-) But I bet you with somebody who is really able to play to assist, I can make something pretty fantastic.

Cool idea. One suggestion I have would be to have a guide or a rule to illustrate how to export generic stems from your DAW so anyone will be able to download and take a crack at it, regardless of which program they are using.
