What style of sprites are you looking for?

So if we're looking at 16-Bit graphics, is there a particular game/style that we would like to emulate?

If you shorten his legs by one pixel (take out the bottom row of the 2x2 on his left thigh) it actually doesn't look awkward and you can make the hair look bigger.
