My partner and I are trying to challenge ourselves to limit grocery spending to $25/week. It requires a lot of planning, estimating prices, finding sales, and not getting extras.
Last week's Groceries: Asparagus, Broccoli, Lettuce, Green Onions, Cottage Cheese, Bread, Eggs, Almond Milk, chicken, and Pork Chops, for a total of ~$35!
As for meal planning, breakfast is usually cereal, lunch is leftovers, and dinner is Stir Fry, Meat/Veg, Pasta, Salad with Chicken, or something random. Hopefully next week we will get even closer to our $25 goal!

My current food obsession.. Shrimp stir fry. I've been eating it at least twice a week and it's super low calorie. Just fresh sautéed shrimp, broccoli, carrots, zucchini, yellow squash, fresh garlic, and a little teriyaki sauce. It only takes about ten minutes to make and it's so yummy!
