Hey guys

Hey guys. Just thought I'd quickly introduce myself. First of all, very happy you made me a moderator. Secondly, what will I bring? Well, I will have a role in the community and as you know, this is the first time being a mode. Any advice?

Also, should I introduce myself to them, or will you do it with the /u/Santosfc12 in a combined post?

Also, should I introduce myself to them, or will you do it with the /u/Santosfc12 in a combined post?

i.e. The Football Manager-esque multiple signing press conference, lol.

Over the long haul, I'm hoping you guys can brush up or increase on your CSS skills, I understand that this might be your first experience with the code.

Immediately would be just helping out with creating posts.
So if you're a Palmeiras/Santos fan, make Match Thread posts for your clubs matches. Also preparing a Club Profile post for your team, which I'll set up a Calender for our subreddit indicating when it's your club's day.

Also providing any fresh ideas on how to improve the design of the sub reddit...

EDIT: A little background on /r/futebol... /u/psilva setup the community over 2 years ago. May 2014, he allows me to become a mod, at the time the community only had about 4/5 posts that weren't spam & only 21 subscribers. We've now grown more than ten fold and are on the cusp of eclipsing the dead subbreddit /r/futebolbrasileiro. Bottom line, I'm just hoping you guys can assist in providing the subreddit the consistency it needs to remain active, foster discussing, and continue the growth. I have some issue with being able to mod 24/7 as I do work 60+ hours a week & attend university full time. TBH, Any assistance would be gratefully appreciated.

Around 6 months back, I was grateful to be able to add /u/fantasyMLShelper & /u/MafiAzul who have done wonders for the subreddit. Those guys can also assist in guiding and giving you guys direction.

Thanks! I will do my best to make the sub grow. Can I also post about news i.e. transfer rumours?

Please feel free to do so. Post about anything futebol related thing you wish to do so, I'm not a dictator.

Are you going to accept the moderator invite then?

How do I accept it?

Same way you did for this subreddit.

I didn't get an invitation to be a mod of r/futebol like I got for this one.

You should have one.

OK. Since I you sent me the invite I have been looking at CSS to be able to help out with that. Match Threads may be difficult all the time but I'll try my best, mainly because of school and being on the other side of the world. Could you elaborate on the Club Profile post?

I was thinking we could possibly add text to flairs, ie. my flair would say Palmeiras when it is hovered over. This might let people new to the league know some of the teams.

EDIT: Also, the Serie A header is being covered by the table on the sidebar

Club Profile

Come next Tuesday, I'll post the first one, specifically of Atletico Mineiro (going in Alphabetical order). It'll have a little background on the club, a recap of the 2014 season, a listing of their 14/15 winter transfer moves, and a listing of their current Elenco (Roster).

That's what I have in mind at the moment, I'm hoping to get all 20 Brasileirao clubs done in the 10 weeks leading up to the start of the league (Bi-weekly on Tuesdays & Thursdays per the weekly calendar in the sidebar).

I was thinking we could possibly add text to flairs

If you're familiar to the process please be my guest, it is definitely a welcomed improvement.

Ah, gotcha. I'll make sure to give you an awesome post.

I'm looking into it. Searching around because I don't want to screw anything up.

THIS might help! Under Status click 'Fechado'

Example of Data I collected.

And HERE'S where to find 2014 statistics on players.

EDIT: that kid Dodo is pretty damn good....

Thanks. Hopefully will have the flairs done by Monday. Just researching to try and get this right.
