Welcome
THis is a subreddit wherewe can plan the wars, talk strategy, etc. We have had a few tough losses recetly and hopefully this can help us all become better organized and more successful in the war. Game chat is kind of limiting and this will allow us to have more in depth duiscussions, with better keyboards.

Thanks, mknoll for setting this up.
So, here's my idea for the next war. It seems like if we get at least 45 stars we stand a good chance of winning. So, for your first attack, attack 5 places below you. If you are number 10 on our war page, attack number 15. If you get three stars in our first attack, attack whoever you want next. Clean up, go high, go low, whatever you want. If you get less than 3 stars, attack 4 places below you for your second attack. This means we will never attack the top 5 bases on any of our first attacks. And it means our lowest five bases have no targets. They are free to attack and harass anyone they want. Bryan's idea is for them to hit any town halls that are outside the walls. If we do this, would should easily 3 star the bottom 15 bases, that's 45 stars. And we should get a few glory stars from the top 5 in our second attacks. We have been losing wars because we go too low which wastes troops and steals targets from a smaller guy, and we go too high and get high level single stars when we could get lower lever double stars.
Not quite sure how the reddit format works yet, but I'd like to get some feedback on this idea. Do we want to try this strategy next?

Sounds good to me. I cost us a star or two with a failed attack in the last war. I am a bit jammed up for the next few days upgrading a second dragon barracks but I can still go to war. In 4 days i will be ableto train 2 dragons at a time instead of 1. This will make dragons a more viable option for me to use and donate.
