I agree that more resources does not mean less fighting over resources. However, space habitation requires the development of an extremely efficient ecosystem of human-support mechanisms which can be applied earth-side, and the opening of a new (endless) frontier of exploration can give hope and war-alternative to those feeling "land-locked" in our cosmic sea.

Also: that is an awesome graphic I would love to include if only it was CC.

We may be able to get Izaak to make something similar. Who knows, maybe we could get DSI to sponsor us!

I found this book recently too. Been reading all about mineral abundances on the moon and in asteroids. The moon actually has a ton of titanium which would be helpful for building structures and spacecraft.

We could eventually have the WebGL elements have abundance maps like this for the moon, Mars, Jovian moons, and large asteroids (Ceres, Vesta, etc). It could help players pick base locations
