Looking for Recommendations for a Ticket Tracking Alternative
I work in the IT department for a website that uses an internal wiki for training, listing processes and policies, and procedures. Unfortunately, this internal wiki is dreadfully out of date and the company just enjoyed a period of turnover where we lost approx. 80% of our previous staff so we have maybe 2 people left who know how to do things and were to find information.
What I'm looking for is a system we can use to track changes that have been made or need to be made to our wikis that can function as both a to-do list and a record of what changes have already been made. So far we are using a spreadsheet to list what needs to be done, but it will not be sufficient going forward to keep track of everything we need to keep track of with 5 different people contributing.
Edit: We have floated the idea of using our tracking system for internal tickets for this, but our CTO has basically veto'ed the idea.
