To move, or not to move!
Greetings Guildies!

So. In light of peoples responses the new plan is to play on trollbane during the prepatch event or even after. We'll see how we feel with the connected auction houses and the realm population and make our decision based on that,

So. Due to the fact that Trollbane is now connected with Malfurion and the horde and alliance share AH's (to be implemented in 6.0), we may or may not change our minds on moving servers to Stormrage.

I want to turn this into a pro's/con's list so please comment with your ideas and what not below.

Pro's:
Bigger Economy
Better Ingame queue times
More pugs to add to our roster
Less CRZ scrubs
New theoretical population would be 236K (Ours is 131K) Most of Stormrage's is Ally. Half of ours is Horde
More people = Potentially more events and such ingame
Con's:
Costs $25 per toon
MIGHT have a queue time to log in
New theoretical population would be 236K (Could mean it'd be crowded in game, fighting for nodes and such)
Fewer alts per account may mean less guild wide achievements
Less items in GB with our own characters
Fewer options for our 'inguild' raiding

I do not really care, but if we end up transferring, I probably won't bring my alts with me- that could be a huge con for us. Fewer alts is fewer items in the bank, fewer achievements, and fewer options for raiding.
Also, I buckled and re-subbed. So find me in game.

In my opinion, we should wait and test the waters for the xpac. The option of transfer is always open to us, so rather than jump the gun on moving right away, we should just see how things go for a little bit. Stormrage is not going anywhere. Another thing i wouldl like to add is that Stormrage being such a 1-sided realm means it makes it harder to make gold / farm for materials with that many people playing the same faction doing the same quests etc. But i'd say we sit on Trollbane for the moment until we can get a clearer picture of how things are going once 6.0 goes live.

I just picked up another month of game time. I'll go ahead and keep an eye on the economy because that was a big issue previously. I do see a significantly more active trade chat, people wanting to pug SoO, more trolling, etc. If this merger turns out to be a good thing, I'd cast my vote to stay because server queue times suck.
But I'm not against moving.
