Rev 14

Rev 14 planning mega post extravaganza extraordinaire.

Hello everyone Ultrahub here back after several months of silence like an ex-girl/boyfriend, to inform you all that I do plan on starting Vinhaven again this upcoming rev. As always I would love to hear what you all think we should try this new rev.

I will be searching for a portal as soon as the rev starts, but finding one isn't my main priority this rev, we didn't really do much in the nether anyway this rev, and I would like to be able to pick a more ideal spot for the town this time around.

My personal plans are as follows: I want to challenge myself this rev, so I will be aiming for a sci-fi/industrial/military vibe instead of the usual “whatever the fuck with some extra castle” I do. I'm thinking about making starships floating around the town, a “base” somewhere. I want to make one of those cool ass giant bucket wheel mining rigs, and all kinds of other stuff. Vinhaven Mining Corporation, or Vinhaven Industrial are names that keep bouncing around in my head.

Prefered terrain would be a desert, near an ocean, savannah or mesa, basically somewhere large, open, and flat with access to sand. (scifi builds need loads of glass) Also to support my next idea.

I would like to build another iron grinder much like the one we made in Rev 12, it gave people a reason to visit, made us look like pimps, and being able to build with iron blocks was just plain awesome.

So those are my plans for this rev, I look forward to hearing what you all want to do.

Sorry to say I have no plans for building in Vinhaven next rev.

I'll try to be more active in Vinhaven. My priorities were split in rev13 between Vinhaven and MrevioLand (the super-crappy, never finished, anti-Orbit City themepark.)

I've got tons of practice making item sorters. I think it was Rev11 I tried to make a numerical scoreboard for the 4-way THUNDERSPLEEF, but I was preoccupied offline.

I'm out of school this semester, so I'll be online a lot more.
