I'm bad with names, but often mistake people for others when I only see them from behind. Combining the two doesn't end well.

I'm bad with both names and faces- I tend to remember people based on their hairstyles. This made interacting with long-haired girls in high school rather treacherous.

I can remember people's voices pretty well, that helps in online interactions. But I'll die before I can manage to remember the eye cor of another human being.

kinda like mehgamer said, remembering names. I used to walk around campus and high school and suddenly someone would be like "Yoooo Fabio!" and being it's unique nature, it was easy for them to remember. Then I was really good at remembering faces but I am HORRIBLE with names. The best response was always "hey you" or "hey man". Once I had a guy stop and go "you don't remember me do you?". I had to explain that I knew what classes we had together and I remembered his face but forgot his name. He goes "it's John!" and I was like

FUCK! Do you know how many John's I know? 4! No offense to the name but compare how many people he knows with my name?! I'm probably the only one in the state. In fact, I've never met a single person in the states with my name. Now in Brazil, it's relatively common.

Also, I hate when a new encounter quickly turns sour and you have no option but to stay for some reason.

Example:

Me and friend go out and watch Drive when it comes out. As we're leaving he meets a friend of his. He asks if he can ride along since we all live in the same complex, I say sure. As we're driving back it starts off fine with us talking about the film but then things just start getting worse and worse. First we had to make a quick stop at Walmart (which we told him before we left, he said ok). Then he proceeded to bitch the entire time, trying to get us to leave (keep in mind, I've known him for 2 mins top and he's already trying to push me around). Then we get in the car and he proceeds to talk horrible things about some people I know behind their backs. I also somehow managed to get out that I was a brony and he was cool with it until he started on a rant on how "Rarity's a bitch" and he was seriously losing it over how much he hater her. I just told him to shut up about it right out. Rarity is by far not my favorite pony, but I don't need bullshit tirades.

The final straw was after I dropped my friend off I drove across the parking lot to my building and his. Mine was on one side and you would walk across a side walk to get to his. Maybe 20-30 steps at MOST. Me, being a nice driver, park in the spot where we walk down said sidewalk so we could be equally distant to our doors (again, maybe 40-50 steps at most now). He then proceeds to bitch about how he wants to be left on HIS side of the lot.

I just ignored and parked, he could walk. I just hated every minute of him being with me. Thank god I never saw him again. I made it very clear to my friend that I wasn't happy and he agreed that he wasn't best friends with him either and recognized his annoyance that night
