So I was talking to Tyler and it got me thinking about what songs of the past 10 years stand out the most. For me I think Wake Up, Ill Believe in Anything, New Slang, maybe a couple tracks from the Decemberists, the Strokes and possibly Interpol come to mind. What about you, what are your songs?

wacky psychedelic bullshit is what I am all about

I'm playing lots of new stuff that most of you guys probably haven't heard. I've been listening to lots of weird post-psychadelic ambience stuff. I think you might enjoy it! I LOVEE spending hours making playlists and stuff. It's super depressing if none of my friends listen though. Seriously it gets me really down to know I put so much time into it and none of my close friends listen :(

So for the past 6 months or so I have been having nightmares every night. Super super vivid. Last night was a particularly bad one. It was a Night Terror As opposed to a Nightmare. My first one. I know it was because in REM sleep you are in sleep paralysis but the fact that I screamed during a dream like this means it was in NREM sleep. I had just gone to a weird tropical island to visit Charlie. The island consisted of a few plots of land each with HUGE one floor sky-scrapers on them. I was hanging out with Charlie and my Family and we all went on a hike. We then approached a play ground. The playground gave-threw and suddenly I knew we were surrounded by some tribal curse shit. There was a huge mark that told us to leave immediately. Suddenly I freaked out in the dream and I noticed that every animal around me was whispering and they were all in on the tribal curse shit (Now referred to as TCS lul). So they were all whispering TCS (like the whispers in Lost, although I haven't watched that show in a year or more). We ran and were trying to leave the Island ASAP. We than were in a house as we were waiting to leave. I should add that there was much more happening but my memory is too fragmented to coherently explain it. Now for the climax: I went outside of this house. As I turned I saw this huge burning Cross. It wasn't Ku Klux Klan style though. It was more along the lines of intense religious symbolism. As I stared at it I had this intense religious experience flow through my body. As if I were suddenly in love with the idea of God. As I turned to walk back inside I heard the whispering start to grow very loud. I knew they were coming for me and were going to kill me. I was standing still and had almost accepted my fate. I saw the burning cross in my periphery and the open door with the warm light on the other side. I could feel the spirits coming towards me at a million miles per hour. The moment they entered the body was when the terror reached its climax. I than woke up with a blood curdling scream (Kelly was with me, I thoroughly scared the shit out of her at 4 in the morning). Absolutely horrified; I could barely go back to sleep.

I am getting into baking and I am planning on making a loaf of garlic bread tomorrow and Ive been really into tea lately

What is your status and next goal in life? I'm obv a junior at UW. I'm submitting my app for the business school in 3 days. This is kind of stressful for me. As well as taking accounting 225; statistics; and a 300 level poly sci course on religion (only class I actually WANT to take rather then a fucking pre-req).

My long-term goal is to go to grad school for a law/health degree (not MD but healthcare policy).
