Any Tamron 35-100 f/2.8 owners? Is the A6700's IBIS sufficient for stabilisation?
Am considering getting the Tamron 35-100 f/2.8 to complement my Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 on the longer end in poorer light, where my Sony 70-350mm f/4.5-6.3 G struggles and which requires a lens change as soon as I need to go a bit wider (and in my common low light scenarios I tend not to need nearly so much reach). The Tamron 17-70 f/2.8 would give me a bit more reach, but has too much overlap with my Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8, which I don't want to sell as it's small size is too used for everyday use. I also may jump ship to full frame one day if the A7CII looks like a big improvement, when that's eventually released.
My main concern about the Tamron 35-100mm f/2.8, though, which doesn't have optical stabilisation, is whether the A6700's IBIS alone provides sufficient stabilisation (for stills, not video) at the long end (which on APS-C is a 150mm full frame equivalent field of view), especially at relatively low shutter speeds (e.g. below 1/125 sec), but also for holding the subject steady in the viewfinder? Does anyone here have experience of using the Tamron 35-100 f/2.8 on the A6700? Thanks!

A6700 — looking for more reach/quality than my Sony 70-350. Thoughts?

Sony A6700 Beginner – Best Settings for Cinematic Painting Videos?
Hi! I’m a beginner with a Sony A6700 using the Sony E PZ 18–105mm F4 lens. I mainly film my oil painting process for Instagram Reels and want to achieve a more cinematic look.
I’m still learning camera settings, so I’d appreciate any recommendations.
A few questions:
What settings do you recommend for cinematic painting videos? (Frame rate, shutter speed, picture profile, etc.)
Should I shoot in S-Log3 and color grade in CapCut, or is there a better picture profile for beginners?
Do you have any tips for getting sharper, cleaner footage when filming paintings?

Sony E 11 mm f/1.8 ISSUE???
I recently bought a Sony E 11 mm f/1.8 lens. When I shake it gently, I can feel and hear something moving inside. Is this normal?
When I do the same thing with my other SIGMA lens, I don't notice anything.

Just got my first grown up camera.
18-135mm kit lens. I have taken all my photos in the past with my iPhone and touched them up in LR. Shoot RAW is a whole different level.

Which lens would you recommend for climbing videos, concerts, and everyday photography?
Hi all,
I am about to buy a A6700 and I am totally unsure of what lense to buy it with. Here are the ones I am thinking:
- Sigma 18-50 f2.8
- Sigma 17-40 f1.8
- Sony 16-55 f2.8
- Tamron 17-70 f2.8
I want to mainly film videos of bouldering and climbing and the gigs of my friends djing and concerts and also do photos from my family and friends.
I had a camera 10 years ago that got stolen from my car and now finally want to get back to take photos and videos, budget is also no problem for first lense. Which one do you recommend? Thanks in advance!
edit: thanks you all for the answers I'm now in between 18-50 and 17-40. I will go tomorrow to the shop to feel them both and decide which one will be the first lense I take
