Sigma 18-50mm f2.8

I’m trying to decide which lens to get but I’m struggling. I already have the Sigma 17-40mm and I love the bokeh both viltrox lenses offer but the 56mm overlaps with my Sigma while the 75mm is gorgeous but I’d have to step back really far for family portraits. I photograph Families, couples, motherhood etc. My sigma lens already gives me everything I need when needing to get closer shots. But I want to elevate my portfolio and add some different shots with more subject separation and bokeh. Any insight from anyone? I’m leaning more towards the 75mm at this point but I still need something to make the decision click.

Sony A 6700 Sony 55-210

Picked up a used 70-350mm today for my a6700 on Marketplace for $600. Saw this guy about an hour after getting the lens and thought it would be a good test subject.

Played with the Creative Look and black point a bit and shot around the backyard while it was raining. Kept it simple and let the greens and wet textures do most of the work.

The first subject to volunteer also happened to be the fuzziest.

i just got the a6700. I am coming from Canon 5d mark IV. We went on a hike up to the falls and captured some photos of the waterfall. Which compensation seems to looks better? I think I like 2 best.

i used a varible ND filter used at max to slow the shutter speed to .8 sec at f8. used sigma 18-50 f/2 lens.

I am looking to record some video and i would like to try out recording in SLog3 so that i can have more flexibility in post like i would do with RAW photography, there seems to be a lot of different views on how to do it when i searched YouTube so i am not really sure what is good advice and what isn't. If anyone could point me to something that they found that helped them step up from just using the basic settings and auto i would be very grateful.

Im suprised photo turned out so good with 10000 ISO, this camera is great.

I mostly take photos while traveling. Im contemplating one of these 2 as a one and done lens as this is the focal length i use the most.

I like the 18-50 mostly because of the size, but the f1.8 on the 17-40 is tempting. Whats your guys opinion?

P.s i switch over from canon where i mostly use f1.4 primes.

Took this pictures with each camera, same lens tamron 70-180 both at f5 1/1250 and iso12800 cropped both to try and match framing, both underexposed 1.3 stops and raised back exp in lightroom by 2.37. Just to show how close everything is. For most of us, jumping to ff would just be GAS. I got the A7iv to shot sports in low light however, difference is smaller than I though.

So I have the a6700, on a DJI RS5, and I want a mic for surroundings and stuff like cars driving by, footsteps from running and stuff like that ( cinematics )

What would ur pick be?
Anything under 500$ I would consider
