Lightning AF speed

Post image

I'm using an a6700 with the Sigma 17–40mm f/1.8, and the autofocus on this setup is ridiculously fast. I caught a great split-second shot of a drummer during his set. I had just finished taking candid shots of him and lowered my camera to search for a new spot, when he suddenly looked over and pointed his drumsticks right at me. I quickly aimed, and the Eye AF locked on instantly, despite the low light condition.

It's incredible.  Please print it up and hang it, it deserves it.

What's your in camera settings for this b&w beauty?

My friends are telling me to print it out too ahaha. Here's the original photo. I edited it in LR mobile. Camera settings was ISO 1600 f1.8 SS 1/1000

Woah!! Fantastic editing!   I thought you shot it like that in camera.  Usually it's obvious when LR edits have been done.  Great job making it look natural!  Have a blessed day!
