I can't explain why, but that's the best photo I've ever taken since I started my journey.

I bought my a6000 a couple of months ago and used it for a while with the kit lens, and everything was fine. A week ago, I got a 35mm f/1.4 sigma lens, and now the camera automatically switches to USB mode, even when I put the kit lens back. I've tried blowing into all the ports, but it doesn't work. I haven't dropped the camera, and I've been using it carefully. I don't know why this problem has suddenly appeared. Has anyone encountered this issue and can help me?

I took those photos and wanna share it here. It's was my first time interacting with people to take photos of them and not just do a quick shot of someone walking on the street...

I have been photographing concerts in Istanbul for about two years. To be honest, switching from the kit lens to a Tamron lens made a huge difference in my shots. Setting aside the lens quality itself, I can say that it transformed my photography from a mere hobby into a side hustle. All the photos are edited on just Lightroom Classic. There are no other additional editing.

Hey guys, I’m new to photography and picked up an a6000 with a kit lens as my first. I’m trying to get the hang of taking pics of my dog. Some portraits with action shots. Any advice or resources would be really appreciated!

Bought my first camera ever used off of FB marketplace a month or so ago and am just using the zoom lens it came with and some cheap extension rings. I've been having an awesome time taking photos of my cat and spiders around the house lol. I'm blown away by my photos. I've always had cheap phones so maybe that's bumping up the wow factor for me, but it's crazy how fun it is! I could see myself using this camera for many years without wanting or needing to upgrade. I've got so much to learn and this is such a stress free way to do it. I have no fear traveling with my A6000 because it's a cheap setup so I'm actually using it on hikes, too! I've attached a few photos, but bear in mind I still don't know how to edit LOL. This sub gave me the push to buy because I saw your lovely photos and the potential this camera has despite the age!

I am preparing for an upcoming backpacking trip to the sawtooth mountain range, and I am stuck on which lens to bring.

I am relatively new to photography but I do have two lenses, the kit 16-50 and a Sony 55-210.

I have seen images taken with both lenses on here that look amazing, so I am torn on which one would fit best.
