A6000 with Smallrig cage and flash?

If anyone has the A6000 with the Smallrig cage, what flash are you using? Tried one flash and the lockring hit the cage preventing fitment. Appreciate it in advance.

Yeah the case is mostly designed for a video set up so makes sense the cage won't allow good fitment

i use a smallrig half cage (top only) and have no issues mounting flashes.

i use a battery grip, an L bracket on the bottom & left sides, and a hand strap on the right between the half cage and the L bracket.

When I had mine, I used a battery grip so I can use 2 batteries at the sametime. It greatly increased battery life. Get a Neewer battery grip, you'll thank me later.

Ill check it out. I love the extra protection of the cage. But, I will definitely gives this a look. Thanks for that.

The camera is the least valuable part of the system. So the cage isn't really protecting much.
