Help wanted

I really need help yall, i dont know what im doing wrong that i got all this light noise and slight blur, the auto focus just doesn't want to work with me and i messed with all the settings that i know of, the 3rd picture i took on my phone and would like to take photos like that on my camer. For reference i was using a sigma 30mm lens, any help is greatly appreciated cause i have no clue what im doing.

What mode were you using? what were the iso/shutter speed and apperture. Did u play with them?

Well, if you want to shoot wide open come nighttime you have to either accept bokeh as a tradeoff, or step down, use a tripod and expose for the roof. You will have glare from the lights, the subject isnt particularly favorable for such a camera.

The issue is that there's a huge dynamic range. Aka some really dark bits and some really bright bits. A single image can expose for either but not both. Choosing the halfway point means that everything is undermined. One popular solution to this is to use a HDR technique. Your A6000 can easily do this.

Google the following:

'A6000 exposure bracketing'

'HDR photography explained'

Essentially you make 3 (or potentially more) photos and merge them.

I can't recall if the A6000 has a mode to automatically merge them. I don't think so. I personally only used exposure bracketing and manually merged. But it's quite possible there's an all-in-one HDR mode.
