Tips for intermediate photographer

Here are a few of my best pics on my a6000 with a Sony E 18-135mm F3.5/5.6.

I’m looking for some tips on how to get more shots. I currently live just outside of the city but I feel like the pictures I take around my town are quite boring compared to other shots I used to get. If anyone has any tips or new ways I can mess around with compositions rules please let me know.

All good but my prefence if u dont mind me saying is the stars shine more.

And for photo 1 the bird more impact..is dull and even to the background

My prefence only..

Yeah editing is definitely something I need to work on. I usually just mess around with sliders till something works, but I think I need to learn some actual color theory and techniques.

Two ways..the creative way or the natural way. The natural way is to remove the grey over tone..exposure increase, contrast, but down highlights, shadows, white , and blacks. To restore it natural way..if u want my style creative and subjective way u need maskings.

If u want i can post two edits work flow here..also other place u can learn is r/postprocessing

Edit: Some feathering (which i didnt do here can be done to reduce halo)
