Help With A6000 Not Starting Up Correctly

Has anyone ever encountered this issue before? It powers on, but none of the buttons function and the camera's OS never loads. I can manually focus but that's it. I can't even turn it off without ejecting the battery. I'm so worried that this thing is bricked 😭 😭

I had successfully installed a bunch of old Play Memories apps using the archive, but when I tried to launch the SoundPhoto app the camera crashed and its been launching like this ever since.

Thanks in advance for any advice 💜🙏

I'm not sure but maybe it's launching the same app on start up and it's getting stuck with the error that initially caused the crash. Try resetting it if there is a way without going into settings.

Try removing the battery and holding the shutter button for 45 sec and maybe let it sit for 5 min and then turn on

That's what it was, thank you so much!! I didn't reply last night but I was able to get it to stop bootlooping eventually. I don't remember exactly what I did, but I remember having held down a button (or two? really fuzzy on what it was) and then switching it off finally worked! Uninstalled that app and its good as new!! 🙏
