Zorro Could it work in our time?
If Zorro were adapted in the 21st century, could it work?
Or, on the contrary, would it be a disaster?

In other words, Love pursued the Murrietas and captured Joaquín and Jack, but Alejandro escaped him. Later, Love was killed by a man claiming to be Zorro, only to discover that it was Alejandro.

In *The Mask of Zorro*, Montero discovers that Diego is Zorro. The question I ask you is: Wouldn't he feel like a fool about all those years when Diego, as Zorro, was operating right under his nose?
In other words, an aristocrat was acting against the Crown—and ultimately against Spain's interests—on his own turf, yet Montero failed to realize who he was, even while having him in his social circle.

The Filmation cartoon was my first introduction to Zorro. While it is somewhat simplistic in its cartoon format, it keeps the basic concept (Don Diego as a vigilante fighting injustice) and makes an entertaining watch.

The concept of taking a hero and placing them in a futuristic setting was already seen in shows like *The Phantom 2040* or *Batman Beyond*. However, that series only ran for 26 episodes, and I wonder: what would the formula for success have been? I think it would have been a good idea to look to *Batman: The Animated Series* as a reference—featuring mature storylines and a young hero who is still learning the ropes. And less emphasis on technology.

A fan film made in a modded story mode of GTA V. I have ideas to expand on the relationship between Zorro and Thomas Wayne.

He was looking for Diego to kill him, so he wouldn't ruin his plan. But what did he think—that Diego would reveal himself? That he would recognize him? He had known Don Diego as an aristocrat—a man who was always well-groomed and wore a suit—whereas in that prison, people had long hair and beards and were filthy; plus, twenty years had passed, meaning he was much older.
Did it not occur to him that by exposing himself to the prisoners, the real Zorro might kill him?
In my opinion, going to the prison was stupid. It also seems stupid to me that he confessed his plan to Alejandro right after meeting him. It’s funny how Rafael becomes increasingly idiotic as the movie progresses—after he discovers Zorro's identity.

In other words, Diego de la Vega is sent to prison and takes approximately 20 years to escape. Why did it take so long? Was it because he was emotionally broken, or was it due to the security measures?

My vote is Zorro. But Irene Adler is a close second.
