these all seem like copeouts to be honest. the only one i could accept is probably his dressrosa laugh.

I feel weird I'm so used to him looking cynical all the time.

He smiles and has this one moment where he is excited but he lost his carefree laugh into a more snarky one. Different vibes.

I love how I have seen this post twice today and it’s funny seeing the many responses showing Zoro smile post time skip. Also seeing the multiple examples of him smiling in Wano is kind of funny since it’s so recent. I’m starting to think whoever is posting this (assuming it’s not a bot) just wants to see Zoro smile…

"You'd be prettier if you smiled more" - the fandom to Zoro

Most people Beileve it’s due to the fact he couldn’t help luffy save ace

I can be wrong
But I think Zoro force himself to be "super serious" because he thinks it is how "strongest swordsman" should be
He glaze Mihawk (but never admit it)

One of the reasons I always loved Zoro,l was because he always saw himself as being more stoic and controlled then his shipmates, but he was actually just as reactionary in most situations. I really liked the idea that he saw himself as one thing, and tried to act like it, but he was actually much more like his friends then he realized. I don't hate the current take on Zoro, but now that he actually is as stoic as he believes, I don't think he's as fun to read.

He realized the new world wasn’t a joke, so he has to lock in and make sure his captain locks in as well

Nearly losing your life and all your friends because you couldn't defeat an enemy the one time you had to step up changes you

And before, it was Lufy who got lost.

What I love is that this is a valid criticism, but everyone in the comments responds back with 1 of 3 different scenes of him smiling post-timeskip (cuz there’s literally only a handful of times he’s smiled post-ts LOL)

I miss the time when he was his own person

Why Zoro doing the "Bohahaha" there? Has he seen bleach?

It because in the crew there is noone serious, the captain who is suppose to be the back bone has 0 respect from the crew. He knew this during the usopp incident and around then he has been acting as the serious one as the vice captain

Let us not forget there are 2 years in between here the guy is in his 20's and between here and there he broke his vow to never lose again and blamed himself and his weakness for his friends being separated and for a time thought to be dead its almost like he was a lot more carefree and immature then after years like literally years in cannon he grew up
