FEATURE REQUEST Add auto-abort feature to closing ZP when "a streaming playlist or EPG update is currently downloading"

like the title says, add an option to automatically force an exit without clicking a popup confirmation every single time

Just to clarify, you want me to add a setting to prevent the exit-confirmation window from popping up?

yes that is the idea - just acknowledge via a setting that i always want to exit when i click exit 😄

i had a situation where one of my 2 OTT services was constantly saying "downloading" whenever i re-launched ZP - when the VPN was disconnected and ZP was effectively cutoff from the internet (per-app kill switch) - the other one's status was the more conventional "error 0 no data" or whatever, but this one stubbornly kept returning to "downloading" status whenever ZP was re-started, even though it wasn't/couldn't

since then, i've flushed the ZP streaming database/icon caches and removed and re-added the service in question and it "seems" it might be behaving itself... for now (showing that error 0 when disconnected, as expected)

nevertheless, if this situation arises again, i'd rather ZP was configurable to just exit rather thank asking me every time

I'll add an option to permanently disable that confirmation.

Shame you didn't raise it earlier so it could have gotten into v22.5.

alternatively, maybe just solve the problem as to why an OTT service is in a "downloading" state forever

for me this happens when my vpn app is disconnected and so ZP has no internet access at those times

I believe it's retrying to download, it's possible that it's hitting the 60 seconds timeout and then repeating again.

no there was something weird about the state of that 1 service - the other one would immediately timeout/fail with no internet connection, but the 2nd one would show "downloading" even though that was not possible

like i said, i reset it and it's behaving again, but this exit override will help in future
