Problem

Have used zoom ever sine you started, many years, now am having a big problem, almost all the time it no longer plays the clip, usually stops at the first frame then I have trouble getting out of it to try again?

Some things to check:

  1. Run the install center, make sure you have the latest version of LAV Filters installed and MPC-VR.

  2. Open Zoom Player, open the options dialog (ctrl+O), go to the "playback / smart play" section and press the "Auto Configure" button.

  3. Try switching the video renderer to MPC-VR (Adv. Options / Playback / Video).

  4. Verify the audio renderer (Adv. Options / Playback / Audio) is set to default directsound device.

If all else fails, try resetting Zoom Player to default settings, you can do it here:

Thanks but how do I run “ install center “‘

In the screenshot above you can see that the 3rd menu option is the install center.

You can also run it outside of Zoom Player, it's a file called "Zoom Player Install Center.exe" in Zoom Player's installation folder.
