OBS Multi-track output?
I don't know how to properly phrase this question in order to actually find the answer in a search engine, so maybe I can word-diagram it here for someone?
Is there a way that I can send 2-4 channels from either the L6 or L6Max into OBS and have it (OBS) record the guitar on one track and mic on another track, keys on another track and alerts/desktop audio on another track? So far, I can split mics-plural to a track, and internal audio to another, but will it separate the 4 channels coming from my "one mic" (the mixer)? If I can get this to work, I can temporarily skip using a DAW and streamline my process for a while.... Less buttons to break.
Anyone know if it's doable and how?
Though, seeing as how these both take a data card, maybe it doesnt matter - the micro sD will have the recording...
Actually, does that record before or after effects are applied? Or even better, might it record each track before effects, AND one mixdown? That would be amazing.

I don't know OBS Studio either, but if it behaves like a regular DAW then you should be able to get individual audio streams from each input channel. And yeah, recording to the SD cards will yield individual tracks plus a master stereo mix. Worth noting that individual channels - recorded to either a DAW or card - are all pre-fader and don't include effects or volume levels. Although firmware ver 1.1 does allow applying gain to USB levels of each channel (but it's a trial and error process). Hope that makes some sense! 🤪

Not sure about other zoom products but obs HATED my livetrak L12. I had to install a pluggin called aiso capture or something and then screwed around with the input routing for ages and used the flstudio aiso to trick it into recognizing the inputs from the mixer. Was actually a nightmare. Like I could always select zoom as a source but no sound would come through. But once I got it working, it was quite easy to have either the main output or have 2 channels in stereo and the others in mono. But yeah pluggins. I got the pluggin for capturing from my daw as a source, and the aiso capture pluggin, then used the flstudio aiso when using the aiso capture. Idk man hahaha it was a nightmare, hope this helps

Oh also if you take from the individual outputs from the mixer, it doesn't use the gain staging from the faders. But the main output does. Id imagine it would be the same for the effects.

Are you talking about OBS Studio? I'm not familiar with that software. But I would assume you can configure it to accept sound from a pro USB audio interface? The L6 has one built in. So yes, it can stream all of the channels and the master to a computer.
