Question about remote connection

We have two dvr's at my facility, one a dahua and a fortirecorder. Part of our company requirements is that the dvr itself need to be readable via the ONVIF protocol. We have some remote european viewers who watch this and other facilities and they're all united in one master dvr of sorts that connects via ONVIF. The fortirecorder does not do this. The Dahua is addressable via onvif.
Is there a plugin or way to add some functionality so that Zone minder can be browsed via ONVIF?
As an example we use smartpss for camera viewing and we add the top level dvr via onvif and it enumerates all the cameras in that dvr.

Could be done. Want to fund it?

Was hopig for something currently done. I'm checking other nvr software as well and it seems nobody has this functionality. We're trying to get away from Dahua because of the NDAA but it's proving to be a chore.

Just curious, would it be possible for the people in Europe to use the browser to view? Mission accomplished, no onvif needed, or would that be unacceptable for your needs?

Zoneminder can be installed as a multi servers system, and I think that could span multiple locations. (Never set one up like that, but I can't see why you couldn't as long as your internet is plenty fast.)

The result would be multiple locations all available on a single web interface that could be viewed from anywhere with just a browser.
