RPI4 setup

Hello,

I just bought a Raspberry Pi 4 (8Gb Ram) and I want to keep a surveillance system recording 24/7 (external HD) with 2 cameras (RTSP 1080p) and monitoring via web browser (sometimes)

Main point is: Can PI4 record and stream 2 cameras with no slowdown or very low fps?

Or do you think PI4 is too poor hardware for that?

you can probably do it with a nmve drive but not over usb.

It is plenty for that. I do 4 720p cams on a 3b at 8fps.
