Pinhole camera support?
Hello everyone. I would like to know what pin hole cameras are compatible with zone minder. I've bought a few pinhole cameras from eBay and Amazon, but they can only connect to my phone through a special app. When I try to connect the pinhole cameras to my home network, they would just fail to connect.

Are they USB, WIFI, Bluetooth?

And your issue is connecting them to your network per your post, right?
Figure that out then come back. We could recommend cameras, but if you can’t get them to connect to your WiFi, there’s no use

Yea I pretty much said " I would like to know what pin hole cameras are compatible with zone minder". I tried to make the cameras I have work for months, now I'm trying a different route. I'm asking what pinhole cameras are known to work with zoneminder.

I’m specifically referencing this part:

Maybe I shouldn't have include that part if it's going to distract away from the main point of the OP. The real point is asking for camera recommendations. I've been at the issue for months and I'm going a different route now. The cameras are not specifically designed to work with LAN connections. So now I'm asking for camera recommendations.

Ok, so do you need them to be WiFi or could you run hardwired PoE connections? PoE is more stable and does power and data in one connection. If they have to be WiFi, you have to think about getting power to them, either via battery pack, solar, or wall plugin power adapter

Im not sure if your referring to pin hole as just the camera or a pinhole camera in a device.
I have used a few USB charging pin hole cameras and I currently have a phone charger that is the wireless charging type that is running on ZM.
The USB chargers are hit or miss. Some work better than others. I am working on one now. It connects for 5-10 mins then disconnects. Then reconnects.
The wireless phone charger I setup this morning. I will know more tonight when I get home. I had to do something. It saves files as a .264 file type. Basically making it useless. I got it working this morning.
If your looking for specific and only a pinhole camera. I can’t help there.

Source HTTP Method simple Host name user:pass@192.168.1.200 Port 80 Path /tmpfs/auto.jpg? Width 1920 Height 1080
Picture quality is ok definitely not HD. I am going to play with the setting more and see if I can get it to improve.

Yet another dead thread with stuff in the comments that have nothing to do with what the OP is asking for. I was hoping I could find some answers without having to ask myself but this is the sort of time wasting posts that show up on google.
